Tapper leans left in his coverage, but IMO, he's the closest thing to an unbiased and objective reporter that there is in the MSM WH press corps. He's the only alphabet media type that I bother to read or listen to on a regular basis.

He turns up on Laura Ingraham's show now and again and is pretty good.

And yeah, he is one of the few dinosaur media types I pay attention to. Still, make no mistake, he's an old Salon.com lefty.
