...Also on hand to mark the Presidential milestone were former governors Bill Richardson and Tim Kaine, and Mr. Obama's staunchest allies in the debt battle--Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Senior White House staff also celebrated: Chief of Staff Bill Daley, Cecelia Munoz, John Brennan, and Valerie Jarrett. Mrs. Obama's former Chief of Staff, Susan Sher, flew in from Chicago, as did two of the President's closest pals: Dr. Eric Whitaker, University of Chicago Hospital Vice-President, and The Parking Spot President and CEO Marty Nesbitt. Campaign fundraiser Andy Spahn was spotted, too."

While people are living on the streets and going to bed hungry these rich morons celebrate a birthday party..All of them should be ashamed use your dollars to feed your people..And what makes me even angrier is them busing their friends to Washington on Air Force One..Shame on you fools one day I hope to see you all go hungry..

Hanks must have really stood out in THAT crowd. I’m surprised (and yet, disappointed) they didn’t beat him up.

WTF? How so?

Can anyone provide links to some of the media coverage of George Bush’s big birthday bashes? I’d really like to compare to see if they provided the same level of enthusiasm for Bush’s birthday . . .
Oh yeah, Bush was a class act and wouldn’t dream of making a public spectacle out of a private (and unimportant) occasion. I mean really, a birthday party for the president? I expect to see balloons and pointy hats. How ridiculous. You’d think the guy was turning 9, not 50.

What do all these people have in common? They are old as dirt. Tired, old, socialists.

First thought that came to my mind also.
While the US tanked Obama fiddled away like nothing was going on.
