Video: They’re still not listening to Rick Santelli
Hot Air ^ | 8/5/11 | Ed Morrissey

Want to see a microcosm of everything that’s been wrong with American economic policy over the last couple of years? Watch this exchange between Ezra Klein and Rick Santelli from earlier today on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Santelli, whose February 2009 on-air rant over fiscal and economic mismanagement inspired the start of the Tea Party, gets exasperated with Klein after the Washington Post columnist talks about money moving around “unfairly”:

The entire problem with this economy is the notion that some people have of “unfairness” in markets. In fact, that’s how we got here in the first place. Government intervened to correct what was seen as “unfairness” in the housing market by guaranteeing risky loans, which set off a housing bubble that left the economic system in ruins. We got Obamanomics as the end result of that, which is all about “fairness,” and which has utterly failed to produce growth thanks to the arbitrary and punitive ways it treats investors.

I was watching this live this AM, when my wife came in to ask me some questions about her new iPhone. I said: "Wait a second, sweetheart, great television is happening. Santelli is taking this little socialist twerp to school." She then watched the rest of it with me and we spoke during the commercial.

That's why I watch Morning Joe sometimes...for moments like these.

Ezra is a child. And he is not some Ivy League prodigy. He is a poser.

Just why would the Commie hacks on Mourning Joe have the 10 year old Juornolist founder Ezra Kline talking economics? I guess the Regime told them to try and take down the founder of the Tea Party. Looks like an epic fail for little Ezra.

B U M P

“We’re not seeing growth because of the hostile environment for investors, and a lack of consumer demand related to high unemployment. We could solve those tomorrow by reducing regulation (especially the arbitrary ObamaCare legislation that makes risk calculation nearly impossible), unfettering American energy exploration and extraction to create jobs and lower energy costs, and reform the tax system to put all investors on an even playing field and reduce the corporatism that drags down small-business creation and innovation. We don’t need social engineers tinkering with the economic system to achieve their notion of “fairness” — we need actual economic growth, which the social engineers have proven completely incompetent at delivering. “

Go !

Listen to how he talks. He has a “nose in the air” attitude, uses big words, name drops ... it is like he pretending to be Thurston Howell III. It is utterly sophomoric. Klein is like a college sophomore trying to impress a freshman. I don’t think he even comprehends what he saying.

Eric Klein is a prime example of the criminally poor job our education system has done, and the sad thing is that we have an entire generation of Americans that have no clue how a capitalist, Republican form of government work.

We don’t need a fair system; we need a just system. In a “fair” system everybody gets a share. In a “ just” system everybody get to keep what he earns.

Ezra Klien is completly full of himself.

What a douche.

NEW RULE every time Ezra Kline, Journolist, is mentioned, the most douchy picture of Ezra Kline must be posted.

Ezra Kline just drones on and one saying nothing.

Ezra Kline, Captain Douchebag.

kline is famous for towing the communist line being for homosexual marriage and talking without saying anything.

Ezra Klein, JournoList founder and charter member of the Juicebox mafia, might be able to construct nice sentences and paragraphs, but the content of what he writes is utter nonsense.
