“The poor are living better than the middle class that are working their ass off and still falling behind.”

Well I don’t know about better...but they are generally living just as well. I get NOTHING for free. Zero handouts.

P.S. (O.T.) I’m kinda new here - how do I reply with a quote from a previous post and have the previous post in italics like everybody else does? Thanks, DJ)

HTML tags are placed manually to do the quote/italic things. If your using Firefox, there are some add-ons that allow right-click tag options.

I assume you don't know html, so here is a quick dump on it. Every time you want a piece of text to look different (italicised, bold, etc) you put a "tag" in front of it. The tag tells the computer to show it with the specified difference. When you want that difference to stop, you put a "close" tag after it, and it turns off the difference. Paragraph tags do not require a close tag, as each one just starts a new paragraph.

When you type in your repsonse, and send it to FR, FR's software autoformats it by inserting a paragraph tag in everywhere that you hit return and created a paragraph (see below for what a paragraph tag looks like). When the post is displayed, everywhere you hit enter will begin a new paragraph.

When you put even one tag, of any kind, into your post, it is detected and FR's autoformating is turned off, so every paragraph must then have a paragraph tag in front of it, or no matter how it looked when you typed it, it will all be in one big paragraph.

<p> Put at the beginning of a new paragraph

<i> Begin Italics

</i> End Italics

<b> Begin Bold

</b> End Bold

Thus if you want a post which look like this:

Question

Answer

You should type in :

<p><i>Question</i>

<p>Answer

Google "html tags list" for more tags. You can see how your post is formatted before posting it by usng the preview button.

Welcome to FR
