Obama and the Narcissism of Big Differences
Wall Street Journal ^ | Aug 6, 2011 | Joseph Rago

Posted on 08/06/2011 12:33:49 AM PDT by Clairity

Whatever the rhetoric that preceded this week's deal, the debt-ceiling debate was never really about the debt at all. It was about the terms on which the debate would continue. The "two different worldviews" that divide Washington, explains Eric Cantor, are too far apart for anything more than an armistice.

The "philosophical starting point" of today's Democrats, as Mr. Cantor sees it, is that they "believe in a welfare state before they believe in capitalism. They promote economic programs of redistribution to close the gap of the disparity between the classes. That's what they're about: redistributive politics."

The roots of the Obama-Cantor animosity date back at least to another memorable exchange in 2009, some three days after the inauguration. In a meeting with the president, Mr. Cantor - then the No. 2 Republican in the House - discussed the economic recovery plans that the post-2008 GOP remnant favored. "Elections have consequences," the president responded, "and Eric, I won." The White House promptly leaked the remark to the media.

"Elections have consequences," the president responded, "and Eric, I won."

I hope that after the 2012 elections, when Republicans capture the presidency and both houses of the Congress, they will remember this and say this very thing to the Dems and act on it.

Obama is a very disturbed individual (as are all these sap-happy progressives completely divorced from reality).

There's an element there of schizophrenia---a mental disorder that makes it difficult to tell the difference between real and unreal experiences, to think logically, to have normal emotional responses........

We should be on the lookout for Obama's symptoms:

The urge to hurt someone (manifested by conducting FBI surveillance of innocent conservatives).

Feeling hopeless or overwhelmed coupled with the urge to escape (numerous vacations and golf outings).

Seeing things that aren't really there (bedeviled by thoughts of a vengeful Tea Party).

Thinking George W Bush is his enemy (continually blaming Bush for a failed economy).

Feeling he cannot leave the White House (the urge to raise a billion dollars to get reelected).

Being unable to care for himself (financing ACORN, La Raza and other subversive groups as his private militia).

Bump. A very good article. 0bama’s redistribution worldview is choking the American way of life. The only way to begin to change that is to win next year’s election.

Yes, Democrats also do not worry or understand how the economy works. Democrats just spend your money to buy votes to keep themselves in power. Why budget when you can spend freely, print and borrow money, and complain about the rich not paying their "fair share." Never mind that the "rich" include anyone with a job, including you.

Never mind that the "rich" already account for most of tax revenues. Never mind that the "rich" are the source of jobs in this country.

The Democrats, with their greed and corruption, union thug mentality, their idolatry, their blind pursuit of power, and their stealth socialism, have led this country to the brink of economic collapse.

Yes, and we are gonna rub your filthy nose in your own words, on the day we throw your incompetent, America-hating, Marxist ass out of the White House, Emperor Obama.

Obama is a sociopath.

He is a cold, unemotional creature who not only lacks a conscience, he lacks the ability to experience human emotion. He can emulate it but cannot live emotion as the roughly 96% of normal humans know and experience it.

A sociopath is reduced to living his entire life obsessed with one thing - winning.

A sociopath is a bald-faced liar who can say anything without regret or proof of his statements and has no inner problem with such inhuman deceit.

He is hell-bent to destroy anyone who stands in the way of his ambitions.

He can be ruthless to and beyond cruelty and sleep like a baby after intentionally destructive acts against other human beings.

A sociopath only uses emotional terms as he observes and interprets their meaning and impact in normal humans.

This is why his public reactions to devastating news and events are so inappropriate.

He simply doesn't get the emotional impact of life's tragedies and disappointments as we do.

This is how a guy can go golfing or attend a gala party without remorse immediately after a devastating event that would really take the wind out of the sails of a normal person.

A sociopath interprets normal human emotion as a weakness to exploit in others.

Emotion is a weakness the sociopath is thankful he does not possess.

The sociopath is the most dangerous and insidious threat to society because normal humans cannot conceive of the sociopath's existence without a conscience or any emotion as they experience those traits.

This is how an American president can deliberately destroy his own country's future to prove his own power to manipulate, as Puppet Master, all the puppets around him who are his "subjects."

A sociopath has no "higher calling."

He answers to nothing but his own whim, the only relevant force in his universe.

I'd say it more simply: Obama is a spoiled affirmative action baby who is used to getting his way and doesn't play well with others.

There is a word for guys like Obama that I can't use in polite company.

13 Reasons Why The U.S. Is Now . . . OFFICIALLY BANKRUPT !

Excerpt:

* * * ATTENTION IDIOTS IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA - Stop The Budget Lies - There Are NO Cuts - House Passes Bill To INCREASE Spending By $7 Trillion Over The Next 10 Years

Lies, Damn Lies And Government Budgets * * *

The Boehner led House passed legislation this evening that INCREASES spending by $7 TRILLION over the next ten years versus a baseline budget that would have increased spending by $9.5 TRILLION over the same period. * * *

3) 6) [An Unconstitutional ] Super Congress will decide on a mix of tax increases and reductions in planned spending growth to meet the targets at a later date * * *

7) No one in Congress even considered Ron Paul's simple plan, now endorsed by Time Magazine as well as liberal economist Dean Baker, to wipe out $1.6 trillion in fake debt owned by the Federal Reserve.  Debt that we owe to ourselves, that is entirely legal to wipe away. * * *

11) If S&P or Moody's has the sack to downgrade the U.S. AAA rating, a Sovereign CDS default will be triggered and Global Financial Armageddon will be unleashed. * * *

Global Financial Armageddon is coming !

And a Nazi-like coup and illegal take over of government by corrupt members of Congress. Our elected representatives are in the pockets of the very people who engineered the financial crisis -- the too big to fail banks and greedy gangsters who run them. The Banksters are in control.

Soon we have a dictatorship with an unconstitutional Super Congress at the top of an elitist New World Order Pyramid

"Government bankers want to control the debt, And whoever controls the debt, controls everything. This is the essence of the banking industry, to make us all slaves to debt." (Umberto Calvi)

EXTEXAN POSTED: Global Financial Armageddon is coming......Our elected representatives are in the pockets of the very people who engineered the financial crisis -- the too big to fail banks and greedy gangsters who run them. The Banksters are in control. Soon we have a dictatorship with an unconstitutional Super Congress at the top of an elitist New World Order Pyramid....

Back in 2009, Ohaha sent $17.5 BILLION stimulus to NJ when Dem incumbent Gov Corzine was runnning for reelection. Investigative media could not find where the billions went. The funds just "disappeared." Obama was paranoid about Corzine winning since this was the first statewide election since he was elected---and he needed Corzine to advance his agenda. Obama went to the state three times---Biden was there twice. Relentless Ohaha ads ran on pricey NY media. The NY Times reported the Ohaha WH controlled nearly every aspect of Corzine's campaign. Corzine lost anyway.

============================================

POINTS TO PONDER POSTED CIRCA 2010

POINT ONE Remember when Obama announced: "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." While Obama's announcement was welcome news, it was assumed that any money or profit would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned by the banks found new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept slush fund (then-COS Rahm Emanuel controlled all of Treasury's activities).

POINT TWO We kept reading and hearing Congress rushed to approve the "$787 billion stimulus package" but very little of it was actually used. Supposedly $17B was sent to NJ when the incumbent Dem Gov was up for reelection----but it disappeared without a trace. Dem Corzine lost, anyway, In a segment on nightly news, uber-Lobbyist Thomas Hale Boggs, Esq (Patton Boggs) said there was $2 TRILLION federal stimulus "waiting" to be distributed and clients from all over the US wanted a piece of it. Boggs is the son of former Cong Hale Boggs and sister of ABC-TV commentator Cokie Roberts.

POINT THREE Obama tapped VP Joe Biden to "allocate" the stimulus $$trillions. Biden's son and brother were involved with Texas financier H. Allen Stanford, now charged with an $8 billion offshore fraud. The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and a Stanford Financial Group entity, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the WSJ said. Stanford-related companies marketed the fund to global investors....... Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the VP's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to the WSJ.

POINT FOUR How can this be legal? A jaw-dropping policy the White House released late on a Saturday afternoon 2009, hoping we would not notice. "Following OMB’s review, the Obama Administration has decided to make a number of changes to the rules that we think make them even tougher on special interests and more focused on merits-based decision making. First, we will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons, not just federally registered lobbyists. For the first time, we will reach contacts not only by registered lobbyists but also by unregistered ones, as well as anyone else exerting influence on the process. We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program."

POINT FIVE Obama, Soros and FDIC's Sheila Bair, among others, are engaged in a "War on Wall Street" to get complete control of our financial system.

” Supposedly $17B was sent to NJ when the incumbent Dem Gov was up for reelection——but it disappeared without a trace. “

We are screwed, because the D C Republicans will do NOTHING to investigate all this money disappearing.

I wish I could say that “you are just being paranoid”, but unfortunately you are right on the money on all points, including 5.

"They", the Progressives, don't believe in Capitalism at all, certainly Obama does not.

Do love how Mr. Kantor steps up to the plate.....

America is 15 trillion (or 26 trillion, depending data) in debt, yet still has a AA+ rating(???) The manipulators are milking this market volatility for all they can grab.

The famed Ann Rand dystopian society has engulfed us. This is no longer the America I grew up in during the 1950s and 1960s . . . Both political parties are pushing a jobless recovery by ending jobs overseas. Both parties are controlled by greedy, corrupt traitors.

Next Up: After Debt-Ceiling Debacle, New Trade Deals Pushed by Obama !

Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) memorably called the Boehner deal a “Satan sandwich.” It is far worse than that. Not only will our leaders ship more and more jobs away from the U.S. And give even more powers to a small group of people to raise taxes and confirm a Presidential declaration of martial law by voice vote We also get an illegal and unconstitutional "Super Congress" which is only a half-step away from a total Nazi style coup

Welcome to the New World Order . . .

I was a teenager in the late 50’s. For those that don’t know or lived during that time, you have no idea what it was like. Kids could wander around a city with no fear of anything.....as long as they behaved. Parents also didn’t have to worry about their kids. Many times, they didn’t even know where they were. Hotrodders ruled the streets. I know because I was one. At least we thought we did. Police were our friends. Schools were somewhat tough. They didn’t pass you if you failed.

You also had the McCarthy era. Have doubts whether is was a good thing or bad? It set communism back 60 years. Today it is accepted as their right.....even though their goal is the destruction of the United States.
