Kerry Blames The Tea Party For Credit Downgrade

By Ben Wolfgang-The Washington Times1

Sen. John Kerry on Sunday laid the blame for the recent downgrade of the nation’s credit rating at the feet of conservative House Republicans.

“I believe this is, without question, the tea party downgrade,” Mr. Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Standard & Poor’s rating agency on Friday dropped the U.S. credit rating from AAA to “AA+, questioning the ability of leaders in Washington to deal seriously with the nation’s debt crisis.

The Obama administration’s debt-ceiling proposal, which included more spending cuts than the measure signed into law last week but also contained controversial revenue increases, fell flat after stiff opposition from House Republicans, but Mr. Kerry said that debate is not yet over.

“I think this is one of the most telling, important moments in our country’s history … this poses a set of choices,” he said, referring to the 2012 elections, when voters will decide between the Obama administration’s approach or the path preferred by the GOP-led House.

But S&P confirms that it's the runaway entitlement programs that led to the downgrade- and Obama now wants to extend the unemployment insurance payments. You stupid Mr. Kerry, this is all bout Obama's re-election- let the country be damned according to you dogs.

“As Democrats tonight, and some Republicans, lash out and blame the Tea Party for causing the United States to lose its credit rating, it is worth pointing out that only the Tea Party offered up a plan to avoid what happened.-”

So it’s now the talking points crib sheet where Axelrod also blames the Tea Party. Now that’s a signal for MSNBC and CNN to talk about it all day while their idiot audience soaks this all up.

Kerry’s solution to every economic crisis is to marry a rich man’s wife or daughter and leech off of her. Stupid french looking Lurch-lookalike douchebag.

But I did hear a rumor that he served in Vietnam...

When malefactors in power are threatened, they shoot the messenger, hoping reality will go away. It won't. The Tea party was the messenger warning the idiots. They didn't listen. Now we all have to pay.

I, for one, would like to see them ‘raise’ taxes on the rich just to see their reaction when the ‘expected’ increase does not materialize.

LOL, Kerry, your response is exactly why this Great Country, the United States of America, is in the mess it is in.
You know you are lying and that you are wrong.

When Clinton left office, the debt to GDP ratio was 57%. When Bush left office (eight years later), the ratio was 69%. After 2.5 years of the Obama/Mugabe Rule the ratio is 97%.

The Senate has not had a budget for more than 800+ days. Obama, after being warned by the rating agencies proposed such an irresponsible budget that it was voted down by the Reid Senate by 97-0.

Obama’s best buddies, Pelosie and Reid have had control of the House and Senate from January 1 2007. He and his fellow Democrats have been in control of the purse for 4+ years now.

The Repubs have had the House for just 7 months now. They have passed the Ryan bill which Obama attacked ferociously. The House passed the CC&B bill that was tabled by the Senate and was declared DOA by Obama. How is this fiscal mess the Republicans’ fault?

OBAMA/Kerry = EPIC FAIL

S&P Exec: Another Downgrade For US Possible
Because of gridlock, debt, puts chance at 1 in 4 in next two years
By Jackie Frank

WASHINGTON — Standard & Poor’s managing director John Chambers said on Sunday there is a one in three chance of a further U.S. credit rating downgrade over the next six months to two years.

“We have a negative outlook ... from six months to 24 months,” he said on ABC’s “This Week.”

“And if the fiscal position of the United States deteriorates further or if the political gridlock becomes more entrenched, then that could lead to a downgrade. The outlook indicates at least a one in three chance of a downgrade over that period.”
Chambers said that it would take some time for the United States to recover its AAA rating.

Of course he does.

He's a liberal douche.

We've done EVERY SINGLE NEO-MARXIST FIX over the last two years and we have NOTHING to show for it.

So of course it's the opposition's fault.

And in his next election, Kerry will be re-elected in another landslide.

So I guess we'll sit here and take his crass insults. :(:(:(:(:(

To be fair, Senator John Kerry is 100% right.

If the Tea Party had won, and gotten the government to cut trillions of dollars in spending, we would not have been downgraded.

This is John's way of saying, "Stop me, Tea Party! I'm a serial spender! Stop me before I kill (our credit rating) again!"

More proof this downgrade is absolutely KILLING the Democrats. I hope this will really sharply reduce their clout and electability for generations to come.

His self-regard flows from him like sweat. When he retires to the life he’s made for—sitting around in luxury and adoring himself all day—he will be remembered for nothing of substance. He’s a zero, and the definition of an empty suit.

Can you tell I’m from Massachusetts and have had to live with this total zero in my life for decades?
