We need a balanced approach. Gridlock has been destructive. The fight in Washington has ruined the world. About what I expected.
- tackle deficits over the long term
- we can’t cut more in defense or social spending
- tax reform, ask those who can afford it to pay their “fair share”.
- reform to medical programs
Some people had good proposals, gang of six and Boehner. Not the lack of plans that’s the problem. It’s DC politics. Can’t draw a line in the sand. Need to change ideology.
In short, blame the conservatives.
