Pollster: Americans Are “Pre-Revolutionary”
Vision To America ^ | Monday, August 8, 2011 | unknown

Posted on 08/08/2011 11:51:03 AM PDT by maddog55

Amidst riots in central Europe that have now spread to London and a debt downgrade that threatens to plunge the United States into a double-dip recession, Americans’ lack of confidence in their leadership is so crippled that they are now “pre-revolutionary,” according to pollster Pat Caddell.

A new Rasmussen poll shows that just 17 per cent of Americans believe that the U.S. government has the consent of the governed, an all time low. This dovetails with a record low for Congress’ approval rating, which stands at a paltry 6 per cent, while 46 per cent of Americans think most members of Congress are corrupt, with just 29% believing otherwise.

“The number of voters who feel the government has the consent of the governed – a foundational principle, contained in the Declaration of Independence – is down from 23% in early May and has fallen to its lowest level measured yet,” according to Rasmussen.

The poll was conducted before Friday’s U.S. debt downgrade, indicating that the figures could be even more dire in the aftermath of what some analysts believe is a precursor to a new great depression.

The results of this survey indicate that Americans are now “pre-revolutionary” says pollster Pat Caddell, who described the outcome of the poll as “unprecedented”.

This conclusion follows Caddell’s observation last November that “a sea of anger is churning” amongst Americans who “want to take their country back” and that the nation stood on the brink of a “pre-revolutionary moment”.

I thought the London riots were in response to the police shooting of a suspected gang member?

Our lack of confidence in our leadership is crippled? That doesn't make sense.

I just released a book titled “Surviving Civil War II” that looks at what might develop. The conclusions you come to when you research something like this is that we are already in a Civil War but it won’t look like CWI in large part because of the Internet which will be new bloodless territory. This war is again over slavery, but in this case it is debt bondage of the working class and their young. The regime can’t count on the military, so they use proxy armies of illegals, union brownshirts, anarchists and criminals. Big propaganda war already in the media and Internet.

Our lack of confidence in our leadership is crippled? That doesn't make sense.

I think he meant to say that our "confidence" is crippled, and that would make sense. The reason people lack faith in their leaders is because those "leaders" won't leave them alone to live in peace and freedom. Instead of supporting our Constitution and promoting our nation's values, they choose to tax us abusively, spend our money wildly, feed the power of government obsessively - and then have the audacity to blame us for the results of what they are doing.

"Pre-revolutionary" is right.

Got hit by one of Obama’s voters who was texting while driving through a parking garage. she came around the corner and plowed right into me. Knocked me 30 feet. Funny thing was the Dr. in the emergency room said, “if you had been skinny, youde be dead now.” First time I ever heard that said...

[So your idea of patriotism is “run and hide?”]

That is likely the best strategy this time around. This will be a civil war that goes to the survivor - it will take decads. The welfare state is imploding, the working class will withdraw its support. You won’t be able to fight packs of animals, but you might be able to survive them if you hunker down.

I’m saying to use it as an example.

Milling around and trying to decide whether to obey the “disperse” command from the authorities is a good way to get massacred when someone makes a decision on his own.

Decide on an exact course of action BEFORE they get there, and carry it out when they do.

Yet the vast majority will be retained in the next election.

What you see with that is that people hate other states’ congressmen but like their own, or don’t want to give up the power that “tenure” gives to congressmen.

Somehow, that system has to be shaken up.

The left has their perfect “proxy army” in the urban youths that have been stampeded into “beat whitey” nights, etc.

They are perfect because they can be protected by the state without the state being implicated in their violence.

The original is from a fringe site called ‘Information Wars’ which is pretty much foilhat. That said, I do believe the productive middle and upper middle class are in a state of barely suppressed fury. A couple more years of BO and the slimy maneuverings of the permanent government Republicans could bring us to mass civil disobedience which does not mean mass non violence. If I worked for the feds I would start now and remove any objects of value or sentiment I had in my office or cubicle. EPA or IRS employees should be especially sensitive to what may come. DHS also.

My idea of patriotism is ‘defend the constitution’.

More than anything else, the target for cloward and piven is the COTUS.

Progressives want to rule over us, and the COTUS simply stands in their way. The destruction of our society is intentional.

If you wish to be a free citizen, you’ll defend your constitution. If you wish to be a servant, you won’t.

The progressives have left us with only those two choices. There are no other choices.(Though, I suppose death is somewhere in the mix)

I've taken my muzzle off. I don't care that the psycho left calls anyone racist for criticizing the commie in the White House. He destroyed NASA, destroyed the economy, destroyed the American Military, destroyed the family unit, the list goes on...

I've been saying the last week, that we will enter into the Second Great Depression followed by the Second American Revolution.

If you study history you will see there are very basic trends. Leadership by tyranny is only tolerated by the psycho drugged up left who will defend Obama no matter what.

And these are the grifters who are on welfare, medicare, food stamps, ect... I believe if you get "entitlements" you lose your right to vote, period end of story.
