President Obama will travel to Dover Air Force base later on Tuesday to honor the 22 Navy SEALs and eight other American troops killed in Afghanistan on Saturday when an insurgent shot down their helicopter, according to an administration official familiar with the matter.
Obama will head a delegation of senior administration, Pentagon, and military officials who will salute the flag-draped caskets of the troops who died in a rescue mission this weekend in the worst single-day loss of the long Afghan war. The crash in eastern Afghanistan also marked the largest death toll in the history of the U.S. Special Operations Command, which oversees the SEALs and other elite units.

or the airspace restrictions when POTUS is relaxing .
But , I often wonder
if some of the C-17s returning the 1100 fallen * from Afghanistan and the 253 fallen from Iraq

when he was playing golf at Fort McNair.
If he heard or saw the aircraft
that were bringing our fallen home

More US troops have died in Afghanistan
during the Photo Op’s two and a half years
than during the totality of 2001- 2008 ,
when President George Bush was CINC.
This is the same jerk who threatened to cut off their paychecks if he didn’t get his way. What a phony piece of dog dropping.
He has only been to DAFB for such a situation one other time. In October of 2009. There was only one photograph of him saluting a flag draped case (their term, not mine) and that was because only one family permitted press coverage.

I was gone for a while and have only recently returned. Home internet service was among the casualties of financial issues due to lack of jobs.
