That could be part of why these mobs can run wild. People could be genuinely afraid that if they touch a member of a protected minority group in some kind of altercation, that they will be charged with the hate crime. It doesn’t matter who starts it or if you are defending yourself, because the fact that blacks are a protected class in the law will override all other considerations.
In this case, it was found to be impossible for a black person to commit a hate crime against a white person, so that’s why there are no hate crime charges involved.
A more concrete example of “Complete Bull Obama” existeth not.
Beating on whitey and ONLY whitey.. Of course that isn’t a hate crime! Picking whitey out of the crowd and pummeling him and leaving the people of color in the crowd alone.. Not a hate crime at all!. It’s what the libs call ‘social justice’.. Un-Freakin- Believable!

Hey, Erick Holder is in charge of the main office....so don’t bother him with these Black hooligans, hate crimes don’t pertain to them....just whites and smearing homosexuals fall under the ‘hate crime’ venue.
I am guessing these local ‘leaders’ can look right past the constitutional guarantee that no person or class of persons shall be denied the same protection of the laws that is enjoyed by other persons or other classes in like circumstances in their lives, liberty, property, and pursuit of happiness ... or fair-going.
From the oft-cited 14th Amendment — “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
To the ‘authorities’ in MKE - EQUAL protection of the laws is not optional or even hinted to be subjective.

And this is why I think these incidents are encouraged and instigated by the left. These mobs of black teens are the perfect proxy army for the left.

Any that get caught will be protected by the media and state.

I concur. But if we’re going to have thought crimes shoved down our collective throats, it should be a knife that cuts both ways.

I agree, however, it’s imperative that we shove this PC BS right back down their throats and make them live by the same “rules”(that they created) as well.

It’s almost like the blacks lost at the Whack-a-Mole game and decided to try their luck in the parking lot.
Proving conclusively that hate crime laws are as bigoted and unconstitutional as Jim Crow laws, and need to be challenged as such.
Courts must realize, as they did with the death penalty, that if they law is fairly written, but unfairly enforced, as in the death penalty in circumstances where a black defendant would get death and a white defendant would get life for essentially the same crime, then the law is unconstitutional.
The simple statistical proof would be to show the court how many hate crime charges have been brought against white defendants, compared to how many have been brought against black defendants.
Then to ask the court to rule either that the law is unconstitutional, or, as some advocates openly state, that black people, no matter what they do, or how they do it, do not and *cannot* violate the hate crime laws.
It does.
Dunno what the stats look like under the Holder Just-Us Department, but, since Thought Crime legislation was introduced, more blacks have been charged for “Hate Crimes” than whites.
I just hate the entire Thought Crime concept. A crime is a crime. Your motive is irrelevant.

The truly amazing thing is that none of these victims took any personal responsibility for their own safety. I hate to say it but they were asking for it and they got it.

Truthfully, the Police Department are being quite charitable in not charging those reporting the alleged assaults with hate crimes. Those reporting the crimes are obviously racists since they noticed the alleged attackers are black and the alleged victims are white.

I don’t believe in the concept of add-on charges for ‘hate crimes’... Assault is assault , a ‘stomping’ hurts the same no matter the skin color or sexual proclivities of the attacker / attackee.
But since the law is on the books, this was as pure an example of ‘hate crimes’ as any have ever been.
