Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral youngsters

A few weeks after the U.S. city of Detroit was ravaged by 1967 race riots in which 43 people died, I was shown around the wrecked areas by a black reporter named Joe Strickland.

He said: ‘Don’t you believe all that stuff people here are giving media folk about how sorry they are about what happened. When they talk to each other, they say: “It was a great fire, man!”

I am sure that is what many of the young rioters, black and white, who have burned and looted in England through the past few shocking nights think today.

It was fun. It made life interesting. It got people to notice them. As a girl looter told a BBC reporter, it showed ‘the rich’ and the police that ‘we can do what we like’.

Somewhere, we know where, Winston Churchill is looking down with expression of utter sorrow and grief. Sorry Winston.
Somewhere, we REALLY know where, a man with the initials A.H. is looking up at the scene of London burning, thinking how wonderful it is. Reminds him of the “good old days”

A two year old can burn down a building - the ‘art’ is in building one. Show me what rioters have created - and I’ll be impressed. Show me what they destroy and all I see are losers.

Solzhenitsyn and Machiavelli explain it well....no God....no Objective Truth—no right and wrong—except what the powerful says it is. Arbitrary law is all there is.

Cultural Marxism deliberately has been removing God and Spirituality from the public schools and public square where it has always had a Constitutional right to be—starting deliberately in the 50’s, although Dewey instilled moral relativism to kill off the Moral Absolutes of Christianity in the 30’s.

McGuffey Readers were filled with God and Duty and Justice and courage—all what is found in the “banned” Classical literature which used to be the vanguard of education and wisdom—now it is the promotion of emotional feelings (gay marriage, global warming) and the subversion of truth, over intellectual discussion and what is Good and Evil for civil societies and economies. Children are told lies about history and nature—like heather has two mommies—to destroy the Bible and spirituality. Also they are trying to destroy the Patriarchy—the system which is the best designed one for the development of emotionally healthy children who have healthy role models. Children with no healthy male role models end up in prison or in gangs usually and that is what Marxism wants to breed—a bunch of non-thinking thugs who are just plain stupid and act on emotional impulses which they can’t really control.

Children are being raised with no moral conscience unless the family makes a deliberate effort to instill, and it is hard because all media and public schools do everything to destroy those “fixed” beliefs—the Christian values of Good and Evil. Prior to the 1950’s there was much more support for Christianity. With the end of the cultural support, we see the destruction of American culture which is degrading into chaos which needs more nanny government.

If they can destroy Christian values—then the State can determine the new “values”—always ends up like Stalin’s Russia...Read The Gulag Archipelago to find out the ugliness, cruelty and slavic conditions of moral relativism.

Christian values have led to the most success and freedom for all when practiced. No other ideology has worked for such a diverse population. Maybe, Confucius’ ideology and the Ethics of Aristotle—but then they believed in the divine spark of the soul and Universal Truths, just like Christianity.

I suppose shooting large numbers of the miscreants would help solve the problem to some extent but I am sure Assad in Syria can make the same excuse as a matter of preserving public order.

Rampage: We are told that youths roaming the streets are doing so because they are angry
at unemployment, but a quick look at an apprenticeship website yields 2,228 vacancies in
London

They're not angry about unemployment, they're angry because they might have to get a job.

“Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral youngsters”

Is this about England or the USA - seems pretty applicable to both. Thank God for the Second Amendment.

The nation-destroying propagandists have created a near majority that doesn't want to think at all. Bred to vote once a year for promises of “spreading the wealth”.

The decay has spread worldwide and will be the end of western civilization.

Bill Cosby put forth a similar argument a few years back and he was excoriated.

The author of the piece recognizes the most obvious problems but I think approaches them from the wrong end, rather like grasping a poisonous snake by the tail.

I think after WWI British society lost respect for itself and began to find it easy to be tolerant of others disrespect for its way of life and values, the subject of le Carre’s early spy novels.

How could an older generation demand respect from the newest one if it had none for itself?

And now as the author acknowledges, what must be done, will not be done. It appears British society has not the will to even attempt to govern and protect itself.
