Michael Moore is touting Matt Damon for President (Seriously disturbed!)

Best bet for the American left? Matt Damon.

A suggestion by outspoken liberal filmmaker Michael Moore became an Internet sensation on Wednesday. Since he urged the 41-year-old actor to run for president of the United States on the weekend, the idea has gained traction on both political blogs and Hollywood websites. A big name like Mr. Damon might help secure electoral victory, the director of Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 said while taking part in a virtual town-hall discussion hosted by the blog FireDogLake over the weekend.

“I think that he has been very courageous in not caring about who he offends by saying the things that need to be said here, and if you want to win, the Republicans have certainly shown the way – that when you run someone who is popular, you win,” Mr. Moore said.

“Sometimes even when you run an actor, you win. And I guess I only throw his name out there because I’d like us to start thinking that way.”

"Michael Moore thinks Matt Damon should run for president, and he isn’t alone"

...this is a joke, right?

...And I'm always leary of stories that have no author given. Makes me think they are a plant.

I’d LOVE to see Baraq get some competition from the left, either in the primaries or the general.

C’mon Matt, you got plenty of dough and your millions of fans would contribute plenty more. You can do it kid!

Moore made a big calculated mistake here.

He could have backed Lassie. Instead he’s stuck with someone less intelligent, less appealing, with much lower favorables. Lassie would be excellent on the campaign trail. When she goes into heat, all the old dogs would pony up for favors. And besides, didn’t the Left want to be the first to put a bitch into the White House?

He’s plucking Matt Damon!
If Michael Moore says it, it’s true!
He’s plucking Matt Damon!
And Matt is very good for you!
He’s plucking Matt Damon!
In DC, on TV, where the western winds blow free,
In LA, anyway, there’s a country that’s in play,
He’s plucking Matt Damon!

No, no, no, no Mike!!

Run that midget nutcase Kucinich against Obama in a primary. He’s just kooky enough to hurt the Obamabastard with his base but not legitimate enough to dethrone him.

That will soften him up for the GOP Candidate in November!!

In 1993 I worked on Geronimo in Moab, UT. It was one of Damon’s first movies.

At the time I didn’t realize that he was such a lunatic. But, then again, I should have known. He’s an actor.

The main thing I remember is that his girlfriend was a good looking blonde.

He has almost enough weight to cause a lunar eclipse. It’s substantial.

Well, OK, so it’s not weight that counts in an eclipse. It’s cross-sectional area. But he’s pretty well stocked in that regard as well.

I just watched “inside Job” a rather skewed view of the 2008 banking crisis (The CRA is pretty much ignored along with Fanny and Freddie), but what was fun was at the end, where they showed all the culprits now working for the Obama administration
