Romney is capable of anything and such a stunt would be fairly typical of the crap he pulled.
Wasn’t Ozeroâs campaign goon say they were going to âkill Romneyâ before the election. These asses were plants to make Romney look bad...unfortunately Romney come out looking pretty good, and feisty! NOW, my question is will OZERO have the same confrontations/attacks as the reps on the camp trail?
“Corporations are people” plays into the hands of the left, who want to tax corporations (after all, every “person” should pay their fair share of taxes, right?)
What we should be arguing is that corporations don’t pay taxes. Any taxes on corporations are passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices. When the govt raises the tax on say the Colonial Bakery Co. what it is really doing is raising the tax of ever person that buys a loaf of Colonial bread in the grocery story.
Corporations don’t pay taxes—the customers of corporations pay taxes. That is the correct response.
So true!!
First of all folks, forget about how you may personally feel about Romney. That isn’t the issue here. Two days ago it was reported in no less than three websites (Newsmax, Drudge, and Politico) that the BHO campaign strategy can be boiled down to just two words: Destroy Romney.
Which now brings me to my second point. Anyone who has been active in political campaigns knows full well that once Democrat operatives know where a GOP candidate is going to be (especially the perceived front-runner) they send hecklers disguised as ordinary citizens to harrass him.
The people at the Iowa State Fair who ganged up on Romney and shouted him down were no ordinary innocent citizens. They were Democrat Party goons and hacks.
Thanks. I was proud of that one.
“Several members of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, which is known for confrontational politics, lingered in the crowd after Romney was finished speaking.”
Lesson Learned: You can’t placate Democrats by being moderate.
Did anyone see him “weasel” out of answering the man’s question?
HE NEVER DID!
All that he said was that he was not going to raise taxes...not the answer anyone was looking for.
Romney is slicker than greased owl poop and is trained to lie, contort a question and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give a direct answer to ANY question. He’s your typical “lifer” politician. He’s definitely NOT what we need.
Newsflash: Politicians lie and paper over.
Just thought I’d report that. You see, it tends to avoid future disappointments.
Good grief, Mittster is using the same vocabulary as "King of the Rinos" - Juan McInsane.
Now there is an oxymoron of epic proportions
Fixed (no longer an oxymoron): liberal group think tank
You two said it much better, I agree. Taxes would be passed onto consumers. An increase in any tax is a tax against us all.
The people at the Iowa State Fair who ganged up on Romney and shouted him down were no ordinary innocent citizens. They were Democrat Party goons and hacks.
Thank you for that

Much of the media is playing the incident as if some random crowd of Iowans got angry at Romneys responses to their questions. But they were anything but a random group of fairgoers. Give CBS News credit for at least identifying the main culprit as a liberal: The questioner, who identified himself afterward as Joe Fagan of Des Moines, was one of a group of liberals who positioned themselves in front of the stage and interrupted Romney as he tried to answer questions. Fagan is... |
“liberal think tank Isn’t that an oxymoron?”
With all liberals, their thinking is totally in the tank - for bigger government, higher taxes, and BHO. So maybe that’s one way to define the term :-)

NOT. See post #55.
Got tinfoil???
I may have to by some stock in Reynolds Metals...
