What's behind Sarah Palin's surprise trip to the Iowa State Fair?
Christian Science Monitor ^ | August 11, 2011 | Peter Grier

Sarah Palin and her One Nation bus tour are making a surprise trip to Iowa, if you haven’t heard. In an email sent yesterday to supporters of her political action committee she said she’s going to “meet folks at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines this week.”

(snip)

Sarah Palin has proved that she is the quasi-political attention-getting master of the US media universe.

That’s because there just happens to be a debate in Ames, Iowa tonight among declared GOP presidential contenders. A straw poll follows this weekend. So hundreds of political reporters are already in Iowa – pre-positioned for a Palin drive-by. Pure genius.

(snip)

Plus, SarahPAC has posted a new one-minute Palin video that makes pretty much every other Republican contender’s commercials look underproduced.

(snip)

The sound track is Palin’s speech at the 2008 GOP convention. The overall impression it leaves is that Michele Bachmann is a good speaker, Michele Bachmann is a former tax attorney, Michele Bachmann is a tea party favorite, but Sarah Palin is still way better at lighting people on fire with words.

Does all this mean Palin is going to run for president? She’s still not saying. But it sure looks like she’s running for something, even if it’s only Queen of the Midway.

She loves her country and she supports conservatism and whatever conservative may run in 2012.

She did the same in 2010. If it weren’t for Sarah Palin we would not have had many of the victories we got in 2010.

If she appears on Fox News as a contributor to Fox News, which others here are saying she will do, on Hannity’s show, then she is not appearing as a Presidential Candidate and she would not be allowed to be both.

Fox News has asked their contributors who planned to run (Gingrich for ex.) to choose one or the other. Sarah chose to stay with them.

Could she still resign from them and run for President? Yes.

But right now she’s a contributor and has been told not to mix the two things but instead to “choose”.

If she were going to be running, the time do jump in was many weeks past.

At this point, she will be more valuable organizing republicans and candidates against any and all opposition, including Obama. While doing so, she can be prepping and positioning for the future, including a cabinet position or even vice-president, and from that, she would become a more daunting candidate for the presidency in future elections. She would become even more “fearsome” to the democrats.

SHHHH, dont start a panic.

It seems there are more and more deserters sneaking from this camp into the Perry camp using the same arguments as they were before (like stealing and taking with them intellectual property LOL ) .

Perry is supposed to announce for POTUS on Saturday. Likely she is going there to endorse him. They have been pretty thick lately.

Absolutely! The Main Stream Liars try to pretend that's not true but it's absolutely true.

That's because the leftists fear Sarah Palin.

Are you trying to make a silly statement that she is no going there for FOX News. If that is your position you are the one with the derangement problem. Hannity has been announcing all week his show would be from there.
