EXCLUSIVE: Fox News Obtains DNC Memo on GOP Iowa Debate
FoxNews ^ | August 11, 2011 | Kelly Chernenkoff

Fox News has exclusively obtained a Democratic National Committee memo which paints the Republican field of presidential contenders as Tea Party flaks pushing tired, divisive policies which elevate the rich and predicts much of the same at tonight's Fox News co-hosted debate in Ames, Iowa.

"As we expect to see tonight, the GOP candidates' extreme aims to appease the far-right wing of the Republican Party shows that Republicans are more concerned with protecting their special interest friends and the wealthy than protecting working families," the memo, penned by DNC National Press Secretary Melanie Roussell, reads.

"The GOP would rather seniors and the middle class sacrifice and the wealthy pay even less in taxes. Unlike President Obama, their policies would eliminate, not create, opportunities for the middle class."

Some exclusive memo. They’ve been saying the same thing as long as I can remember.

A Talking Points Memo leaked already?
Sounds like someone inside the DNC is getting tired of the lies...

I wonder who that might be?
You get TWO guesses, and HOWARD DEAN (Or one of his staffers) can’t be your first choice!

Loose lips sink RAT-infested ships....

But holy crap, if they think Mitt Romney is appeasing the Tea Party faction, they’re even dumber than we thought!

Am I supposed to be surprised by this? I don't need to read it to know what it says (though I did) . . . same thing they always say.:)

"Blah, blah, rich, blah, blah poor and elderly, blah, blah friends on Wall Street and bankers, blah, blah poor and elderly, blah, blah tax increases, jobs, blah, blah . . . Same old song, just a different refrain. :)

Glad you posted it, just no surprises . . . which is why they wrote it before the debate.

No surprises, here. The Democrats always call anyone or any position that is not communist/socialist ‘extreme’ and ‘far right’. Who buys that junk anymore besides other leftists and, perhaps the uninformed, if they even care - or vote. That the left is portraying any spending cuts in the federal budget as ‘depriving seniors and kids’ is axiomatic for them but without much basis in fact. Republicans that don’t want taxes raised - on anyone - are always portrayed as wanting ‘tax breaks for their rich friends’. This garbage is so stale as well as fallacious that it isn’t worth repeating.

Could be someone like Doug Schoen or Pat Caddell. They are both Democrats who aren’t on the liberal plantation.

Yes, the American Tax Payer IS a special interest group in the eyes of the democrat.

From: Melanie Roussell, DNC National Press SecretaryTo: Interested PartiesDate: August 11, 2011Re: What to Expect from Tonight's Republican Debate

________________________________________

With 179 days left before the Iowa Caucuses, the American people are increasingly turned off by what they are learning about the Republican presidential candidates and who they fight for. Instead of new ideas that give the middle class more security, we hear the same old policies that carve out special benefits for the special interests. Instead of a new approach that puts party aside and America first, we hear a rigid and extreme ideology that asks working and middle class families to carry the entire load.

"I'm Chris Matthews and let's play softball. Tonight with 179 days left before the Iowa Caucuses, the American people are increasingly turned off by what they are learning about the Republican presidential candidates and who they fight for. Instead of new ideas that give the middle class more security, we hear the same old policies ..."

No wonder this drunk can put on his show every night. The Regime feeds him his lines.

Let them call the Tea Party "extreme" and "radical" and "terrorists" and "special interest group".

And let the republicans tell the private sector, working American tax payer (whether they work at McDonalds, Walmart or the Bank of America) what the democrats really think about them.

“Unlike President Obama, their policies would eliminate, not create, opportunities for the middle class.”

Yup, the opportunity to pay higher taxes, is just one of many “opportunities” Obama has created.

Republicans bad. They scare children and starve the elderly.

You'd think that the Dems would come up with a new playbook after awhile....

Frankly, if I was a Dem, I'd get tired of hearing about what the other guy is going to do *to* me, and what my guy is going to do *for* me.

Mutt would like to give the impression he had some kinship with Tea Party. Watched him on Hannity and he “almost”hinted he was a Tea Party guy. Noted more distinctly that he and Sean failed to ask or mention anything about romneyCare during the whole time.

watch the DNC talking spin doctors will not deviate from that one iota.

I had the displeasure of listening to some idiot laborer who was saying obama should have done infrastructure like FDR. (no he did not) He was head deep in the class warfare mantra.

Questions you won’t hear at the debates.

How many jobs will your policy create in your first two years?

Would you make any efforts to resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict?

Would you wind down or build up our forces in Afghanistan?

Will you continue to export jobs in trade deals when we have unemployment?

The rats were saying the same thing about the Tea Party in Wisconsin and we saw what happened. The rats got shellacked. I cannot wait until Tuesday to see the GOP pick up another Senate seat. Keep it up, Bolsheviks.
