Three North Carolina Democrats admit voting twice for Obama
The Daily Caller ^ | 08/11/2011 | Matthew Boyle

Three Wake County, North Carolina, Democrats have admitted to voter fraud charges, according to local news reports.

Kierra Fontae Leache, Shelia Romona Hodges and Brandon Earl Mclean each admitted to casting two ballots in recent elections. Local reports indicate all three voted for President Barack Obama twice in 2008.

According to ABC News Channel 11 in Raleigh-Durham, authorities have placed the three on $10,000 bonds.

The North Carolina Republican Party says this kind of fraudulent voter behavior is why the state needs a voter ID law. In July, Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue vetoed state Republicans’ latest attempt at instituting such a law, calling it an “obstacle” to constitutional principles. (RELATED: Mississippi NAACP leader sent to prison for 10 counts of voter fraud)

“The reason why Republicans have fought to promote proper voter-identification laws is to prevent fraud like this from happening,” NCGOP chair Robin Hayes said in a statement. “While Republicans are fighting to protect the integrity of our democracy, Governor Perdue’s veto fights to protect criminality in our election process. I know she embraces her ‘fighter’ image, but it’s clear that the only thing she fights for is fraud.”

Thanks,

how could I draw response from freepers to the Question “What is the typical procedure a voter in your city faces when they show up to vote? A typical procedure that might help voter fraud” Unless a photo id is required I am wishing to learn if a signature comparison is all it takes”

How will they address the issue of certain staff members taking absentee ballots into nursing homes and ‘helping’ the residents vote?

Around here? You step up to the desk - state a name - any name - and sign where the person point’s their finger.

You can check the voter rolls by name and see who has not voted the last couple of times. Show up at early voting, give their name, vote, go home and then show up on election day to cast your vote.

You do know that 100% of the inmates of rest homes, even the droolers, are registered and vote 100% of the time - absentee - with assistance of the staff.

Can’t be - I’ve been told by the reliable sources at ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, and CNN that only Rethuglicans engage in voter fraud. Clearly this is just disinformation spread by the terrorist Right.

The amusing thing here....is that there is more control over buying alcohol at the local 7-11 than there is over voting. Oh, and more control at your local cowboy bar, than at the local voting establishment. Booze and partying ought to be at the same level of democracy.

God only knows how much illegal voting comes from the Unionistas, blacks, and other low life trash in America, and we all know where their votes go.

It isn't just staff. Its "get out the vote" Democrats. I overheard a rabid union loudmouth yucking it up during the '04 election, bragging about reading the choices off the ballot to the infirmed and "helping" them make the right choice.

Send all three to prison for 5 - 25 years, and use thjeir mugshots in a year-long series of PSA's warning voters about the penalties for fraud.

Enough is enough.

What is it with Wake County and voter fraud?

Celebrity Clay Aiken was caught voting in several Wake County elections, including 2008, even though he lives in Chatham County.

He was not prosecuted. I guess some pigs are more equal than others.
