(1966:cloward-Piven Strategy)....overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Just like the 'Perfect Storm' all the dangerous elements for destruction came together when the illiterati elected an unknown, mystery man as president. The Congress was already waiting for their 'bride' and primed to kill off America. It was gasping for breath at the time.

It will be a long row to hoe in order to get to eat our peas, but there is a fighting chance that we can get this country back. Too bad last night's 'debate' didn't clearly show us a new leader to replace Obozo.

Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor

If they realized that, why in hell were they not conservatives?

What I find ironic is that they have to put in a socialist system in the first place, in order to collapse it to show how capitalism is a failure.

You’d think if these lefties had two brain cells to rub together, it would occur to them that if capitalism requires this much effort to destroy and discredit, then maybe it isn’t so bad a system after all.

Of course, maybe they’re not interested in what’s the best system for everyone. Maybe they’re just interested in the system that’s most likely to result in incredible power and wealth for them and their minions at the expense of everyone else. The more I see, the more this is the only explanation that makes any sense.

Their only interest in the poor is as a weapon to achieve communist revolution.

I could not agree more! Think French Revolution and Bolshevik Revolution. Just replaced the old ruling class with a new one, and killed off the old one to insure it would not return.

Met the new boss today, same as the old boss...won't get fooled again.

The Founders were so brilliant with the drafting and approval of the Second Amendment.

Great observation! I will ponder that one a while.

Sounds more like an invitation to Civil war than a peaceful change to Communism.

There has never been a truly intelligent or successful socialist or communist.

China calls itself a ‘People’s Republic’, but it’s anything but. A clique of masters rule the nation.

Stalin was a great communist. He starved and murdered millions of his subjects.

Socialist, Keynesian tinkerers are morons who pose as the intelligensia, but they’re anything but! They fall asleep at night with visions of concentration camps dancing in their heads,

I've recently become of mind that collapse of the federal government would be a GOOD thing, not a bad thing, and for just about the reason you give. What would be collapsing would be a system that is socialist in nature.

I reject the argument that says anarchy results if the federal government collapses. We are a people of multiple layers of government, with state and local powers having the most direct control over incidents of social breakdown.

great article, thanks for posting it!
and, sadly, i agree with Venturer.
Obama can make changes like amnesty to swell the voter rolls in 2012, and other unconstitutional changes,
and the Courts can’t react in time.
we are running out of options...

Their article called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act.

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements -- mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown -- providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.

Three points: 1) we are seeing the effects of flash mobs in our major cities now; 2) I believe that Obama was using the debt ceiling crisis to further his goal of economic collapse and 3) for my liberal acquaintances, you are being unwittingly used. This is not your father's democrat party.

"...system that’s most likely to result in incredible power and wealth for them and their minions at the expense of everyone else.".....correctamundo!

Like sheep to slaughter, the Obama puppet masters led half the nation into this false and rosy Utopia having laid the ground work with propaganda about the current president.....these voters should take note when looking around them...they are far worse off being led by a clever charlatan with a clever wife and whose color of skin anchors them in place to do as they will to a once free nation.

I’m wondering why their activities don’t qualify — and would thereby be punishable — as sedition.

These idiots just don’t realize, that if you engineer the collapse of a free country, you are just as likely to get a fascist government or military junta as you are to get the communist revolution they are dreaming of.
