Israel's 'social protests' rattle Netanyahu government

Last weekend's protests were among the biggest Israel has ever seen

Last Saturday, hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets of a Middle Eastern city.

Demanding change, they were fed up with the ruling elite and said their government was no longer listening to its people.

But this was not Egypt, Tunisia or Libya. This was Israel.

If the Israeli government had hoped the street protests, which began three weeks ago, would lose momentum and fade away, it has not happened.

An estimated 300,000 people from different backgrounds joined the latest marches across the country.

Just as their counterparts did five months ago in Cairo's Tahrir Square, Israeli demonstrators have taken over the heart of Tel Aviv.

Israelis had better keep an eye on the common enemy surrounding them or, in a moment of a weakened Israel, there will be no Israel to argue over.

From the article:

But Mrs Len-Cohen has a young son with severe learning difficulties. She has had to give up work and gets little or no support from the state.

As I thought, they want freebies from the government.

I haven't followed these protests but it sounds like the labor party is turning out it's people in an attempt to piggy back on the protests in Egypt and elsewhere. Our own union goons tried that in Wisconsin - to no real success so far.

Such are the consequences of allowing Arabs (or any Moslim) to live in your land.

Ditto for socialists, and Israel has more than its share of those things.

That’s easy.
Walk like an Egyptian? And they too are calling for “democracy” while standing in the only democracy in the mid east. These are 300,000 illiterates who do not know the history and culture of western civilization. Sure they can parrot “democracy”!.

These are 300,000 or more sand people with ZERO knowledge nor appreciation of western culture on call for the MB. The bastarddes should be sent to school or deported.

Is it possible that some WH czar or Obama bosom buddy like Ayers, has been dispatched to foment trouble? There have been stories that the Egyptian protesters had been well prepared by American community organizers.

I know that this is a stretch, but the first thing I thought of was.... is this being organized by Obama’s people?

months ago i remember reading sources that said Soros financed the Tunisian “arab spring”. And i read that Obama had a meeting with the Egyptian M.B. 2 months before they outed Mubarak.
(plus, he specifically invited the M.B. to his Cairo speech,
even though they were banned in Egypt.)
a couple i found real quick:

It was reported to be funded from the US. Appears to be an attempt to get rid of Netanyahu government.
Demands are classic: taxpayer-sponsored housing and price control, totally free healthcare, free education from age of 3 w/o limits, mortgage forgiveness, etc.

Thank you for that. I just knew it was Obama getting even.

Netanyahu failed to follow Obama’s “orders” and made him look the fool that he is.
