I can’t speak for anyone else, but her reluctance to crap or get off the pot is moving into genuine annoyance territory as far as I am concerned.

So I guess you would have been REALLY annoyed with Reagan, who didn't declare until late fall.

Sarah is smart. This crap about running for most of two years is ridiculous. Especially for sitting politicians whose days should be spent on the job they were elected to do.

Good grief, congress critters serve a 2 yr term - and spend over 3/4's of it campaigning.

This whole thing., so far, is little more than a dog and pony show - a free for all like a bunch of squabbling kids.

Why should she spend her powder being one of a gaggle up on the debate stage, having her responses limited to answering inane and biased questions from a lib 'moderator" - especially when the questions - more like accusation - directed at HER would be only to besmirch and smear?

For now, SHE gets to control the conversation while the rest perform like a row of puppets.

Sarah is not RULED - SHE rules.

There should be a law that no one can start 'running' earlier than a year before elections. If a person cannot get their point across in that time, they are hardly leadership material.

YOu need to take something for that PDS - or, at the least, go get a cup of coffee -

G’day

-"Her months-long tease about whether she’ll run for president may be a savvy move if you’re selling books and cutting TV deals, but it’s not much in the way of leadership."

Kathleen Parker, you know crap about "LEADERSHIP". You are nothing but a RECYCLING WIND BAG! You have (since August of 2008) was has been identified as "PDS". In your case, there is NO HOPE for recovery. It is "TERMINAL".

An election campaign is about WINNING! That is how the RATS play. Unfortunately, many Republicans don't know that. SARAH PALIN is one of the few that does! She knows her strategy. I believe in her strategy. CASE CLOSED!

If Sarah’s so over, why do we need to be told constantly?

Exactly - isn't it amazing?

I think it has something to do with the Fox contract.
She is waiting for them to release her. They dumped Newt and Rick Santorium quick enough. But for all the hinting they keep her on.

Do you realize that then former Governor Ronald Reagan waited until November 13, 1979 to declare for the 1980 race for president? That was before Facebook, Twitter, the 24/7 cable news cycle and bloggers. Remind me how that turned out.

The day she enters the race will be Hurricane Katrina, the two recent tsunamis, the San Francisco earthquake and an atom bomb all combined. There’ll be heads exploding in the press, the Beltway, White House, the nutroots, Hollywood, the DNC, the RNC and here, as well.

Kathleen Parker is a just slightly right of center MoDo.

Or, having left office, she would have spent her time hitting the books and filling in knowledge gaps so painfully exposed during the 2008 election.

The libs keeps saying this, but they never put forth any particular lack of knowledge as evidence of this. Did I miss something? And I'm not talking about the Perky Katie's 'what do you read' question. Was there some sort of gotcha question like was thrown at George W. Bush about who was the President of Pakistan? Dubya didn't know the answer to that, and admitted it, but he went on to become the 43rd President.

I have no doubt that Sarah Palin is plenty knowledgeable, and would be an asset to America, were she to be elected.

Whining about Sarah, untrending even faster. The anti-Palin crowd is one of the biggest bunches of drama queens I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to experience.

Newt was my hero last night for calling them on it.

I agree. I think he knows he had nothing to lose, so he wanted to yank the media's chain. He's right; the media is more interested in the minutiae of the candidate's campaigns than it is in the IDEAS of those candidates. That's the biggest problem with dragging these campaigns out. The time has to be filled with something, and if the MSM is not looking for real ideas, they'll fill the time with inanity.
