The Second American Revolution is Just Around the Corner!
Coach is Right ^ | 8/14/2011 | Doug Book

Prior to the 2010 elections, pollster Pat Caddell warned members of the political ruling class that the nation “…may be at a pre-revolutionary moment,” calling the November vote “…more of a national referendum than any [midterm] since Watergate.”

A longtime Democrat, Caddell’s warning was not directed exclusively to his party, for though it would bear the brunt of voter scorn, Republicans were also widely mistrusted and arguably enjoyed a record victory principally because they were NOT Democrats.

As a measure of voter distemper, consider that John McCain, a presidential candidate just 2 years earlier, might have suffered a primary defeat had he been challenged by a more formidable opponent.

Indeed, finally called to account for his frequent betrayal of conservatives, the McCain campaign was forced to craft a right-wing political caricature which left him barely recognizable as the aisle crossing capitulator he had been…a role which cost other Republicans their careers.

Nor has the mood of an angry and suspicious public changed in the interim unless it be for the worse as the arrogance of political elites and their contempt for voters, the nation and the law have intensified with each passing year.

After all, politicians readily boast an ability to do as they wish while blissfully ignoring Constitutional limits placed upon the powers of the state.

“The victors of this second American Revolution will determine the social and economic course of the United States for centuries to come. Most of us will be around to watch it begin.”

The thing is, we don’t have anybody who rises to the level of the victors of the first American Revolution. I’m hesitant about the course they might lay, unless it is to return to the original course.

That is exactly why the country needs a war time President. One that can take control and prove to the people that he will protect this country and work to make it as strong as it was in the past. The people of this country will take a lot if they believe we are heading in the right direction. As Commander in Chief, he must have the military’s best interest at heart, knowing full well that they will protect this country............not just to adhere to the RoE’s that in place now. At the present, just the regulations that the WH has placed on this country has cost $1.6 Trillion. That has to stop and allow the people to control their own lives and not bend to a small group of people that say “It’s not fair.”

I think we have some people to rise to the top—it is the masses that I worry about—most are selfish, can’t sacrifice their immediate pleasure for any type of hardship that would have to result.

They are immoral.

The people who founded this nation and came originally suffered a lot for their future—particularly the future of their children and grandchildren. Too many “good” people now have children for dress-up and as a status symbol—it is all about themselves—you can see the narcissism and selfishness on Facebook. They don’t spend much time with their offspring—give them to others to raise and form their “morals” and worldview as if “others” will love their genetic offspring as much as a mother should.

Leaders usually always appear on the scene—like Churchill—but it is the masses that will either follow or turn to the “easy” solution—the one that appears “nicest” at the moment-—but will end up to be the hell of the gulag.

This is why we need an unashamedely American President that is PRO America. I am proud to be an American and make NO apology for living in and being part of the GREATEST nation on the face of the earth. America is still the great melting pot - taking the best of all cultures and adopting them as our own - then improving them.

A nation where one can change your state in life through your own actions at any age from any place - with drive, determination, and a large dose of the American Spirit.

Our next president must communicate this and be living proof of the power of the American Spirit, including the goodness of America and her people and, as Reagan did, inspire Americans to greatness through the truth that America and the American way under our Constitution (as written - not interpreted) is the last best hope for the nation and the world.

Right now we have a few American success stories as candidates, but the only candidate (pending) that inspires the Reagan type of confidence and belief in America among hard working Americans is Sarah Palin.

This is why she is so explosive, true Americans don’t need the Government, we need Government OUT OF OUR WAY economically and limited to those areas clearly delinieated in the Constitution and NOTHING MORE. Sarah lives and knows what all Alaskans know (and the Tea Party is remembering) - the Government that governs least governs best.

It depends if things come to and if, “to push comes to shove”. It remains to be seen.

...it is the masses that I worry about—most are selfish, can’t sacrifice their immediate pleasure for any type of hardship that would have to result.

...which is why there must be some restrictions placed on the dead-beat American class....those who get all of their daily living needs met by government....

...they must be able to show that they have "skin in the game" before their votes count.

..it is impossible for us to continue as a free society when freeloaders are becoming the majority of the "tax payers".....for they will vote every time for the politician who promises them the most stuff....

Ronald Reagan in our Day Room was enough. It’s a philosophy that you keep. The hits just keep on coming.......

God Bless my Countrymen that have been a part of this. Thank You GOD!

I have mixed feelings towards there being a second Revolution. I waffle. As of now I don't think it will happen. The leadership, real and prospective, is composed of midgets riding in gaily colored buses mouthing platitudes at various Iowa campaign stops. The people themselves have even stopped being a "People" and have become a mere demographic; a vice ridden populace steeped in the deep political philosophy of bread and circuses; all while being led by a Third World self proclaimed black "Divinity." The rise of the "Tea Party" demonstrates that the current leadership has lost its way and at the same time the respect of the governed. Whenever the people become involved it is a sure sign that the political capacity of those in power has seriously declined.

On the other hand there may be enough left in people who have not yet seriously intervened. The names of the leaders to come may not even be known to us as of today. Such a man might tap whatever remains of Western ability, virtue, tradition and care for all in our population. In short, while our "Golden Age is long past, we may have a "Silver Age" left to us!

McCain as an “aisle crossing capitulator.” You can hang that tag on all of the other ruling class RINOs as well.

It’s not going to be the “Second American Revolution.” Talk to some progressives, listen to their radio stations (like KPFA or the equivalent in your area) and read their books. It’s going to be the “Second American Civil War.” And it’s not going to be like “Civil War I.” Expect something along the lines of Somalia or Bosnia.

Liberals don’t own guns. They are afraid of them. They always want someone else to do their dirty work because they are cowards.

Worth noting. Our “Civil War” involved a clear delineation of opponents. The Mason-Dixon line made it simple. This time, the delineation is rural/urban, with further neighborly differences.

When shooting starts - and it will because one group has no workable survival skills - it will be a true civil war.

And no more unidentified community organizers as presidential candidates.

It would have to be the Third.
The Second was just about 150 years ago.

.
In fact, no “skin in the game”, no vote.

Liberals think that laws and regulations should apply to everyone else except themselves.

You'd probably be surprised by how many Liberals are closet gun owners. Or would be in a flash if threatened.

They are hypocrites.

There was a huge rush to LA gun stores during the LA riots. People were surprised when they had to wait several days... another issue. Betting that many of them were Liberals.

Many may come over to our side if it gets rough. There are undeniable facts when society collapses. For example, the police are not readily available during disasters.
