Obama Administration Racing Towards Rio + 20
Big Government ^ | 8/14/11 | Laura Rambeau Lee

Posted on 08/14/2011 12:02:45 PM PDT by Nachum

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was held on August 2 – 6, 2010 in Bonn, Germany. It was the third round of U. N. climate change negotiations with representatives from 178 governments present. The meeting was designed to set the agenda for what they hoped to accomplish at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico in November and December of last year.

The information in their press release conveyed the urgency of the U. N. to get this moving forward with solid agreements reached by the November/December conference. The text in this press release is so extremely important for all of us to understand that paragraphs have been copied verbatim.

“Governments have a responsibility this year to take the next essential step in the battle against climate change, said UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres. How governments achieve the next essential step is up to them. But it’s politically possible. In Cancun, the job of governments is to turn the politically possible into the politically irreversible, she said.” (Bolded by Writer)

“Christiana Figueres pointed to the opportunity to capture the promises, pledges and progress that governments have already made, in accountable and binding ways. According to Ms. Figueres, governments now need to resolve what to do with their public pledges to cut emissions. All industrialized countries have made public pledges to cut emissions by 2020 and 38 developing countries have submitted plans to limit their emissions growth.”

The communists at the U.N. are still trying to figure out a way to take our money and our freedom. It’s about to get ugly.

I am about a quarter of the way through James Delingpoles, “ Watermelons:Green Movements True Colors.”

He writes a blog for the London Telegraph, not a bad read so far, covers a lot of the Climate Frauds history, not a heavy read.

Inasmuch as the entire notion of man-made clmate change is a fraud calculated to hobble economies in the name of a troglodyte anti-modernism, we can count on Obama to embrace it enthusiastically.

He has never yet hesitated to do anything within his power to bring down the American economy, creating whole armies of government dependents clamoring for Big Givernment, Nanny State federal control of everything from soup to nuts.

In other words, Democrats.

Al Gore had a meltdown recently about how the world doesn’t take global warming seriously.

I think the “consensus”, if there ever was one, has fallen apart. Why even have these conferences?

I must confess that I have not bought my ration of carbon credits to allow me to exist. I’m expecting the bill in the mail any day. (sarcasm)

I wonder if the limousine libs are still giving out free certificates for carbon credits in the “swag” bags they hand out at the Liberal Awards shows.

This paragraph near the end of the article triggers my memory to recent events here in Riverside County: “They are not wasting any time. A press release dated August 8, 2011 from the EPA announced EPA and USDA Create a Partnership to Improve Drinking Water Systems and Develop Workforce in Rural Communities that states “The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced a national partnership to protect Americans’ health by improving rural drinking water and wastewater systems.””

Allegedly the local Municipal water system has a new water budgeting system they wish to put in place. We the victims of this new system were invited to a townhall meeting on the matter for our input, but nobody was allowed to input what was not acceptable to the body conducting said townhall. People were silenced if they asked questions, and some were threatened with eviction from the meeting.

I told my neighbor whom attended the meeting that I did not, and whom had told me exactly what I stated above happened that the whole thing sounded to me as though the State of California was behind this in responding to the UN’s agenda 21.

The reason I believe this is agenda 21 is because the contrived reasoning that the billings will be more “fair” as we won't be paying for water wasters anymore with the new system. What a crock!. If we use X amount of water, and are billed for X amount of water then we are paying the price for what we use, therefore they are telling us they are ripping us off to pay for those that don't conserve water!? How much sense does that make?

The new system that is so “fair” requires we fill out, and submit information to the “Water District” about our private lives, how many people in the residence? How many animals at the residence? What type of landscaping at the residence? Any swimming pools? Ponds? etc., etc.,. They then state they will follow up with aerial photographs of each property to confirm that information submitted.

They, the “Water District” then will supply a “tailored” allocation of water to each residence based upon that information submitted.

For us Grandparents whose grandkids come to visit, for those with kids trying to make it in the Obama World, but need Mom, and Dad to help them get a start as they can't get decent jobs...that sort of thing, and move back in with Mom, and Dad the home owner must then repeat the water allocation process once again.

The “Water District” claims we will save annually $9.00 to $15.00 with this new system, and they stress that savings throughout the expensive color brochure touting the new system.

Yeah, so who is behind all of this? I say it's the California Leftist government participating in the UN agenda for the 21st Century that is truly a crock.

Interesting. Thank you for sharing that.

You may find some the link I have saved useful for this. One ogranization that is interesing is “Democrats against Agenda 21” which was started by a bay area lesbian Democrat and who is speaking all around the country now. As she is California based, it is an activist group that may be helpful in your case.

and also, these protest groups might also prove helpful-

It is lucky for these crooks I’m not president.

I would arrest and shackle Gore and his crooked friends for fraud and take them straight to prison.

I would do the same to Soros and at the same time nullifying his U.S. citizenship.

Congress will be no help for America. The only way for us to avert this taking of our freedom is to educate all of our neighbors and friends. I work at it every day.
