Well, I believe in American Exceptionalism, so I’m thinking God is pretty happy for America right now. That’s just my opinion.

I think the term is animal husbandry. Animal sex, well, ... animals are all pretty much A students right out the gate.
As to your point, Perry's a successful three term governor of Texas and he did graduate Texas A&M. He might not be sitting around computing Pi in his spare time, but people who grow up poor and dumb don't rise to his level. Ever.
On paper, at least, he's more qualified than Barack Obama or Sarah Palin, and at least as qualified as George Bush or Hillary Clinton. I suppose if you like 'business' talking corporate raiders, then there's Mitt Romney. Any of those five are well above average in intelligence (if not common sense, perhaps), and I don't see any of them exactly blowing Perry out of the water in that column, either.
Your judgement of Perry is pretty harsh for someone who doesn’t know him. I hope you are comfortable explaining that judgement to God when the time comes. It’s pretty merciless.
He was an Air Force pilot, and ran a farm and ranching business for 13 years. Yeah, he’s real dumb. You’re the perfect candidate to read how he tore Romney apart today. Same topic.
