That's an interesting thought. Well, it all depends if he gets asked. He's already demonstrated he wants to be president. Which is a better route? Being vice president, or being a senator from Minnesota? It's a career decision he'll have to ponder.

I would think Perry would look for another governor, or someone with executive branch experience at the national level. Someone who is disciplined and not liable to run off at the mouth. Someone who can deal naturally with being second banana. I think that rules out Christie or Rudy. But Pawlenty seems perfectly suited. He's not exactly alpha male, even if he was governor.
