Not really. Obama doesn't pander or pay a bit of attention to the black community because he knows he doesn't have to. He knows for all the massive unemployment and neglect they've suffered under him and for all the complaining they may do between now and election day, all he has to do to get them back on the reservation is hold up a picture of the Republican nominee and say "Ewww. Scary! Look a WHITE REPUBLICAN!" (or the polite political equivalent) and they will dutifully run to the polls in 2012 to vote for him again by a 95% margin.
