The Presidential Planner: Obama Heads to Martha's Vineyard

Fresh off three days of barnstorming in the Midwest, President Obama will spend the morning at the White House in two closed-door meetings, first with his senior economic advisors in the Oval Office then with his national security team in the Situation Room.

In the afternoon, Obama heads to the island oasis of Martha’s Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts, where he’s expected to spend the next 10 days vacationing with his family.

How did Maxine Waters ever get into elected office? Promises. And she’s smarter than those who vote for her.

If the President and VP stepped down, that would put Boehner in office. That’s my understanding anyway.

In the early days of the republic, in many states only property owners, i.e., those that had a stake in the country, could vote.

You’re right. In fact, property ownership was a precondition for voting in the original Constitution.

I don’t think Hillary would have a chance. She’s almost from the same mold when it comes to socialism and communism. One of her greatest hero’s is Hitler.

Perhaps she and Bill are just too busy on the International scene now and have been since he was out of office. The Clinton machine isn’t dead by any means...perhaps just moved to the International arenas we now see taking place.
