A proposed federal health insurance regulation set to take effect next year requires insurers to provide consumers with explanatory summaries of their plans, but the insurance industry contends this could be costly to enrollees, and offer little benefit. The new rule – part of the $1 trillion Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare – was announced Wednesday by Donald Berwick, President Obama's recess appointee to be director of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Berwick has never been confirmed or subjected to a confirmation hearing by a Democrat-controlled Senate.

Obamacare’s plan is simple.
Destroy private insurance company’s ability to be profitable.
When Insurance companies go under, so will all the providers.

Re-capitalize the broken system and you have your single payer system.

They are engaging in systematic economic sabbotage to bankrupt private healthcare. Its simple. Its going to be effective. And its occurring right under our noses.

Lessee, Berwick was recess appointed, yet the Senate has been under rat control since Jan 2009. Now why on earth would they not do the proforma hearings?

Answer: Berwick lacks a conscience. He would have made a fine interior minister for Stalin or Mao. This is the sort of animal the outer Left produces, one who would lose no sleep sending every Freeper off to the labor camps.

For now, he'll have to settle for setting up the Death Panels.
