Palin: 'More power to Rick Perry'
By: Alexander Burns
August 18, 2011 03:16 PM EDT

Sarah Palin, who said once again today that she's still open to a 2012 presidential bid, tells Fox News's Megyn Kelly that she's on Team Perry when it comes to the Federal Reserve:

“More power to Rick Perry for calling it like he saw it, and the president in his typical reactionary way, did elevate Rick Perry and what it is that he had to say. And what Rick Perry had to say is what I wrote about 10 months ago, about quantitative easing and how monetizing our debt and printing more money in order to, essentially, devalue our dollar and devalue the problem that we’re facing today, with the debt that’s being incurred. What Rick Perry was talking about is what many of us have been talking about for many, many months, and that is the danger of, now, a QE3 program being put into place. And you know, he used some of that rascal type of rhetoric that he uses there in Texas and evidently the president took some issue to that. But it’s evidence, too, though, of our president’s arrogance, unfortunately, to tell a presidential candidate what to say, what not to say.”

Ah, what would campaign season be around here without absurdly mawkish graphics? At least they don’t feature Alan Keyes’ mug anymore.

Palin said it first.

I thought Rick Perry was Persona non grata around here because he is a Rove plant and closet Bilderberg guy?

Sarah was talking about this months ago. Ofcourse she would agree with him.
Finally maybe people will start paying attention to how the elites are jerking us around.

Nice. Sarah never disappoints, and I’m getting excited about Perry. He’s not in her league but the Bushies hate him so that makes me love him.

Despite your tagline, are you now open to Perry as the nominee?

I can hear it now. Regardless if it is Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin the dims will say it is nothing but a bunch of pee pee down our throats.

Having said that I would have a hard time deciding which of the two alternatives I would want. I could strongly endorse either one.

And to hell with the piss-ant dims.

“.....the Bushies hate him so that makes me love him.”

Perry is not my number one choice, especially because of his stance on illegal immigration. However, his stature is elevated in my eyes, too, because the Bush family doesn’t like him. Neither does Karl Rove, another plus.

Perry seems to irritate Chrissy Matthews, so that’s good, too.

By the way, I’d like to thank your Sailor and 2 Marines for their service to America.

Iwas going to add Paul but this was about Sarah and Rick.

I’m just happy we have multiple voices trying to focus Americans on the serious issues.

I hope to get a chance to see him. So far, I've found him a nice change of pace in an otherwise mostly underwhelming field.
