Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) today released the following statement applauding President Obama for calling on Bashar al Assad to leave power in Syria, and urging other nations to also call for and take action to end the Assad regime:

“We applaud President Obama for calling on Bashar al Assad to leave power, a position we have long argued should be the policy of the United States.

(snip)

“We urge other nations to join the United States in demanding an end to the Assad regime, whose legitimacy is clearly exhausted. We also hope that other tangible actions will be taken as soon as possible, in coordination with our friends and partners around the world, to support the democratic transition that the Syrian people are risking and losing their lives to achieve.

Since it was not obama making the demand, these three may felt like they needed to “pretend” that it was obama instead of Clinton who was asking Assah to step down, so the U.S. would not look as weak as she is at this point. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they may have been trying to help. Just a thought.

2 Thessalonians 2:11

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Romans 1

22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

So the Paulists are coming out of the closet as Syrian dictator fans? Unsurprising.

McLame told the world that we had nothing to fear from his esteemed senate friend, barak obama. He knew who obama was/is and told us that.
guess mccain agrees with him. Doesn’t fuss much about baraq’s actions either.

Thanks much there.

Call me cynical. But I don’t trust this administration. Of course on the surface Assad leaving is a good thing. However. What the aytch is really going on here? Silence when dinner jacket kills his own people? But high dudgeon when these “secular” governments do what they have always done. Has B.O. taken sides in the struggle between shia and sunni?

The inside the belt way political make up could not be any clearer.

The Democrat party has been completely taken over by the progressives. Half of the Republican party the same.

We the people have a tough job ahead of us, cleaning out the idiots and fools that adhere to progressivism.

I am still of the firm opinion that....
Rino McCain and his rino campaign workers did not know anyone other than rinos and so assumed that all Republican politicians where rinos. They selected Governor Palin for the VP slot thinking she was the same as they and found an actual conservative in their midst and where horrified.

When Governor Palin moved the McCain campaign from eight points down to four points up in only three weeks, the progressives, both Democrats and rinos, panicked. They knew at that point that McCain was going to win the election and with Palin as Vice President she would be a shoe in as President in 2012 or 2016. Having a true conservative as president would derail the progressive agenda for years and they would do anything to avoid that.

Progressives, believing that the end justifies the means, and being in a full blown panic now, ordered the CEO of Lehman brothers to tank his business, creating an economic down turn they believed would cause more independents to vote Democrat. They also ordered McCain and his campaign workers to lose the election, which they managed despite Governor Palins efforts.
