As defined by Collins English Dictionary, a bigot is "a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, especially on religion, politics, or race."
In contemporary culture, those who claim to tolerate everything are intolerant of ideas that come from perspectives other than their own, especially when those ideas are rooted in conservative politics or evangelical faith.

This past week Taibbi said that he is on his way to spend some time in Texas tracking down all the dirt he can find on Perry. I don't recall that he used the word dirt but that is what he meant. At least he is honest about that aspect of his typing.
Gee, too bad Palin, Bachmann, Perry, et al. didn't publish a couple of books about themselves that way the MSM would have all the stuff they need and not have thousands of them traveling to all 57 states looking for a story.
Obama was soooooo thoughtful and considerate. Publishing a couple of books is what he did. Wow! It saved millions of dollars of expenses, millions of tons of pollutants -- wow! what a guy!
I thought that maligning opponents was a "rule" from Alinsky's Rules For Spoiled Brats. That's what they are doing.
Good one. The Democrats, who brook no opinions but theirs, are the bigots!
