Thank goodness we have a candidate who's actively working to supress American wages with cheap foreign labor. That's the kind of cowboy pragmatism this country needs.

Texas’ economic “miracle” is built on on a continued influx of people,*******

If that’s the case, why isn’t the illegal influx creating boom times for California?

Left-Wing media rushes to defend Rick Perry from 'Far Right'

The Associated Press gets in on the act as well.

Thank goodness we have conservatives who are actively working to supress American wages with a second Obama term. That's the kind of electoral pragmatism this country needs

I wouldn’t expect a lot on the way of moral courage from the Perry Cheerleaders.

The reason for this is pretty simple: Texas' economic "miracle" is built on on a continued influx of people, as well as a preponderance of low-wage jobs, especially in the housing sector.

The hard data completely explodes the above myth

The analysis is compiled by someone who doesn't support Perry.

Aside from the snide remarks in this Liberal Rag article... oddly enough I find is fairly accurate.. Perry - for 10 years has TALKED - TALKED - TALKED and Postured on nearly every aspect of controlling Illegal Aliens and securing the border - and has DONE next to nothing. I have a number of Hispanic friends on my Facebook page who are outraged that many Republican Presidential candidates totally believe that the vast majority of Hispanic/Latinos are in direct support of illegal immigration and vis a vie Illegal Aliens. But Establishment Republicans and converted Democrats like Perry are not going to listen to Conservative Americans - whether they are White or Black or of the ethnic origins of Hispanic / Latino. That’s just the FACTS Jack...

In 2001, Texas under Perry, became the first state in the country to pass an in-state tuition law for illegal aliens. The law created a national movement.

If this isn’t enough, there are about 1000 anchor babies per month being churned out at Dallas Parkland Hospital...That is just one hospital in Texas, every month.

In Parkland Memorial Hospital Dallas, the second busiest maternity ward in the United States, 70% of the women giving birth were illegal aliens.

That added up to 11,200 babies for which Medicaid kicked in 34.5 million dollars to deliver these babies, the feds another 9.5 million and Dallas taxpayers tossed in 31.3 million. The average illegal patient is 25 years and giving birth to her second anchor baby.

Rick Perry's Texas jobs boom: The whole story

Texas leads the nation in minimum-wage jobs, and many positions don't offer health benefits. Also, steep budget cuts are expected to result in the loss of more than 100,000 jobs.

Many of the positions that have been created are on the lower end of the pay scale. Some 550,000 workers last year were paid at or below the federal minimum wage of $7.25, more than double the number making those wages in 2008, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

That's 9.5% of the Texas workforce, which gives it the highest percentage of minimum-wage workers in the nation -- a dubious title it shares with Mississippi.

Perry signed a budget in May that slashes $15 billion in government spending over the next two years. Also, the federal stimulus funds that poured into the state since 2009 have largely dried up… The state budget cuts alone could result in the loss of more than 100,000 jobs, many of them in the public sector

Paulturds seem to hang out at the far left websites and mags. Guess that just goes along with the “larry flint” ad you all are running and the big bucks filtering in from Russia and support from soros to the little “so far right, he’s coming around the left” weasel.

What next?? links to DU? or DNC?

Ronpaul supporters should very proud.

BS

The Sanctuary City Bill was gutted in the State Senate.
Pressure from Big GOP donor Perry homes (no relation to Gov), and HEB grocery chain dum donor were responsible for the failure.

So we have yet ANOTHER lie being spread by the propagandist.

Perry must be such a fake that Mother Jones blog writer finds him a fine alternative to Obama. He must think that an Obama/Perry matchup is a win win since Obama and Perry are so similar. That must be why they write pro Perry storied in case their hard left dope smoking hippie readers want another option come November, Perry is obviously it.

sarcasm still on

lol. Sheesh even the left loves RIck Perry. No wonder some insane FREEPERS here are supporting him. I always suspect that DU members come over to FR to disrupt the place. Every one of the Perry supporters are from DU. Why would the Democrats support Perry??????? One question that should be asked.
