Skip to comments.Editorial: As Failures Grow, Obama Blames Others

Politics: In his weekly radio address and elsewhere over the weekend, President Obama blamed Republicans for "holding back" the recovery by blocking his still-MIA jobs plan. This wins the prize for Oval Office hubris.
He's even questioning the "patriotism" of GOP leaders on the Hill, claiming they're putting politics above country. "They're more interested in the politics of it than they are in solving the problem," he complained .
"The worst part is when you are talking to a family member of a fallen soldier and you are hugging them," he added. "And then you see sometimes our politics not living up to that level of commitment and patriotism that we see from our troops."
The most ideologically rigid president in history then accused Republicans who control just a third of the Pennsylvania Avenue power corridor of "rigidity" in refusing to raise taxes in a recession.
"When I saw our Republican presidential primary candidates suggesting that they would not be willing to close a single tax break, even if they were going to get $10 of savings for every $1 of revenue that raised, that is no longer thinking in a common-sense way," Obama said. " At that point, what you're seeing is ideological rigidity that is preventing us from solving problems."

I quote Peggy Noonan, who once supported Obama: He inherited a bad economy and broken political culture, and through his decisions, he made them all worse.
“The worst part is when you are talking to a family member of a fallen soldier and you are hugging them,” he added. “”And then you see sometimes our politics not living up to that level of commitment and patriotism that we see from our troops.”
How low can this guy go? He uses live troops as props and dead troops as cheap political points.
If that arrogant pos inherited a bad economy, then he inherited it from himself, because when the Republicans were in charge the economy was thriving. Things changed when the rats took over, and he was part of that change
| Our country deserves better than this, and so do the fallen.
Everything this Jackwagon President does just grows the Tea Party more!
He'll give you everything you need-o Even though it's all wee-weed-o He's planned this all along To keep the economy down Until we end the rule of Zer0
|Finally America has had enough hope and change. The Dems relied on one secret weapon, their belief that most voters are dumb and cannot assimilate facts. When libs elected a Rat majority US House led by Pelosi, a Senate led by Reid and finally a jackwagon POTUS like Obama, it was the beginning of the end for the statists. Obama can rant on about how it's Bush, bad luck, tsunamis, hurricanes, wars, Boomers, the Constitution, the Tea Party, ATM's, and not enough government spending, but the truth is the sand has run out of the clock. This guy has been done since the shellacking in November of 2010. And once his EPA starts shutting down coal-fired plants, and people start dealing with rolling brownouts, to go along with no paychecks, Zer0's approval ratings may dip into the single digits.|
Really? Since the day he was immaculated he was blaming others...thus the apology tour.
I thought it was because of ATM’s or Japan’s tsunami damage, now its lack of some jobs training program? Obama just has bad luck.
“How low can this guy go? He uses live troops as props and dead troops as cheap political points.”
And, in typical “barry the street-punk” fashion, he gives them the finger.
Obama’s a reverse King Midas-—everything he touches turns to trash.
I loathe this Marxist, Kenyan, Moo-slim steaming pantload.
Believe me, you are not alone.
I suspect the man child Hussein is no exception
Fed up with both Obama AND Congress? Take a number and get in line!
It’s President Bush’s fault, dontcha know?
