Don’t know about that. Looking up the name, I see that he’s a far-left WI lawyer who works to destroy society in many ways, so it sounds like something he would be involved in.

“Then the League of Women voters is corrupt!”

And I sincerely believe that if a woman owns no Real Estate and pays no Taxes, she has no RIGHT to vote!

Beotches. Tearing down our country thanks to your stupidity and multiple Baby Daddies.

The League of Women Voters has for years made efforts to register illegals to vote.

The League of Women Voters has now been reduced to being an arm of the left-liberal lawsuit-activist Democrat-progressive machine.

Think of that next time a LWV sponsored ‘nonpartisan’ debate is set up.

The League of Women Voters around here is 90% Democrat and 10% Communist — at least it seems that way. Is it the same in other communities?

It’s not as though they respect the rule of law to begin with, and violate it at every turn, but I guess that they wouldn’t be being consistent if they didn’t knee-jerk complain about this, too.

I took a business trip recently. I had to show official picture ID (valid Drivers License or Passport) for the following:

1. Checking in and checking Luggage at the Airport.

2. Going through TSA security

3. Picking up Rental Car at destination airport

4. Picking up packages pre-shipped at UPS & Fed Ex both

5. Checking into Hotel

6. Checking into facility I was working at (every damn day)

7. Getting a Drink at Dinner (Restaurant Policy-They card everyone according to the Waiter even if they look 90).

So how can any sane person complain about having to show picture ID to vote? Preposterous!

The plain and simple fact it that the Democrats want more illegals and other unqualified people to vote because they know full well they are gonna get 90-something percent of those voters. Simple as that.

I don’t think it’s so much a matter of place as time; they used to make a bigger show of non-partisanship. For my part, I’ve always thought their mission was to cajole and browbeat the stupid and apathetic to vote, thereby diluting the franchise of the intelligent and aware. Now they’re being more open about whom they wish to benefit from their mission.

Yeah, the liberals are gearing up for some old fashion voter fraud. People need picture ID to fly, drive, cash a check, rent a hotel room, enter a hospital, see a physician etc. So the Dems saying it will supress minority or elderly voting is hog wash and outright lies. I am a elderly minority, and I have picture ID.

Democrat voters would only need to show pictures of their tombstones.

Exactly my take. Personally, I don't believe that everyone should vote. If you have read and studied enough to form an opinion -- then fine, Vote. If you have to ask someone else how to vote, then you belong at home minding your own business.

I have been an election worker for the past 20 years. And I have worked with a particularly irritating Dem operative/union teacher/League of Women Voters apparatchik nearly every election.

I remember one election, with a particularly low turnout. We had a couple of college students from the local Lutheran college who had been hired to help out at the polls. This apparatchik kept trying to get these college students to vote, even though they had no interest in the election. I was so proud of those kids — they refused to vote, saying they didn’t know anything about the election. Despite the apparatchik’s offer to “show them how to vote”, they refused.
