Yep. There’s a clip on the web of Bachmann telling her to go to law school, study tax, etc., and her doing so because the Bible says women are supposed to be submissive to their husbands. It was the origin of Byron York’s question to her on the subject in the last debate.
We have heard this EVERY four years since Ronald Reagan left the scene. And I am getting sick of it!!! I think many fine conservatives are running and ANYONE of them would be vastly preferable to the current occupant in the White House.
This mantra that all of the candidates suck is little more than an inside the Beltway talking point for pundits to yak about on cable news.
There is nothing at all “dismal” about the Republican field, and it’s only going to get better as more candidates are added. As others have noted, even the candidates we turn our noses up at are far preferable to Obama.
Let’s all be patient and try to make some honest evaluations over the next several months.
