Rep. Maxine Waters and other black leaders lobbed heated questions at one of President Barack Obama’s top jobs advisers Monday, pressing him to confirm the White House is focusing on creating jobs in struggling African-American communities — and to say the word “black.”
Don Graves, the executive director of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, said at a nighttime forum at a black church in Miami that the president is “focused on every community across the country,” The Miami Herald reported.
But when he added that “certain communities have been hit harder than other communities,” Waters pushed him. “Let me hear you say ‘black,’” the California Democrat said.
As the crowd cheered, The Washington Post said in its report on the Congressional Black Caucus-sponsored event, Graves quietly said: “black, African-American, Latino — we’re going to focus on getting people back to work.”
The approach that assisting all communities helps African-Americans get jobs is “a bunch of bull,” Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Calif.) said, according to the Post. Later, she asked Graves whether he would help shuttle dozens of pieces of jobs legislation authored by CBC members to the president so he could enact them using executive authority.
“You all don’t need to go through me to get to the president,” Graves said.

The good thing about ozero being prez is that it is highlighting for all of the ignoramuses to see what a bunch of racist pigs the africans are. We really, really need a divorce from liberals.

In addition to that, there are already dozens and dozens of operating job training programs. How is it black constituents, evidently, don’t want to enter these federal programs?

Well, that'd make a world of sense, since so many of them are struggling for no-skill, minimum wage jobs.
What I wonder, though, is folks with lesser reasoning ability (and by that I mean folks who haven't accumulated any skills, not ALL blacks and latinos) are more susceptible to mob mentality. You can whip those folks up into a frenzy by sloganeering, imagery, and unsubstantiated claims. The dems have been doing this forever.
If I'm some La Raza grand dragon (or whatever they call themselves), the "black community" doesn't really have anything that I want. But whitey sure does!
The day the black community is numerically overtaken by latinos, Somali, or eastern europeans in America is the day Obama and the DNC have no mo’ use for black folks.

I was taught in college that it is not possible for a person of color to be a racist, only white people have the political and economic power to be racist.

2010 census states that Hispanic and/or Latinos make up 16.3% and Black and/or African-American make up 12.6%.
That leaves only one option for the race-hustler/politics-of-victim-hood crowd -- they must 'hate' on Hispanics with all their might.
I am convinced that if any of the alleged leaders of the GOP had more than two brain cells to rub together, they could mount a campaign that would lock up a minimum of 50% of the Latino vote within two election cycles -- simply by NEVER missing an opportunity to point out that the average Hispanic 'works too hard for too little', and that huge numbers of the so-called 'progressives'/democrats shamelessly who pander to them actually despise them for it.
Since she's considerably more well off than I am, with the political power to boot, I'll stick to my statement. In any event, how do you know I'm a Cracker?

You are correct. I have often heard Mexican people make non flattering remarks about black people. The Mexicans don’t have white guilt.
