So right you are my friend.

Obama with a Dem house and Dem Senate managed to run up

$4,247,000,000,000 in new debt.

Now we should feel good that that MAYBE we might save

$10,000,000,000 over five years?

That would be like your your wife going to the mall and putting $4,247 on an credit card and saying “Don't worry honey, I am going to try and save up at least $10 over the next 5 years”.

Meaningless.

Obama is banking on Americans to be too stupid to understand this.

Cantor was correctly listing out all the new regulations in place under Obama. All burdensome, all on the Democrat’s watch.

I remember W requesting and getting big budget increases for the IRS and SEC. I don't remember him decreasing any regulations. It looks like Obama is doing more than the GOP did.

“But Bush......”

Don’t you have any clue at all of just exactly how lame that excuse is?

Or are you just running out of talking points, and decided to walk that old dog around the park again?

Put up or shut up. Did W cut regulations or increase them? This thread is a couple of days old, and so far nobody has put up.

The EU make the policies for Europe. The Czars do it for the USA. Europe is broke. And we’re on the way.

That contempt and disdain is the weirdo “queerdo” feeling of government these days. They go abroad and are trashed as diplomates, laughed at, and they do not even admit it or see it. The hypocrisy of the diplomacy has them pimped like little girls by foreigners.

I cannot stand these shameless queered’ up government ranks swelling up like this, and this is why Issa et. al. do not go after Zero, because he is doing a good job in their eye, while Zero bows down like a shamed little boy to retard goat humpers in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan etc...

But the destruction of relationship that Zero is fostering is terrible, and now Congress is mulling whether it is going to be appeased by Zero’s funding them stuff, slapping him on the wrist instead for bad behavior south of the border in arms smuggling.

THis is where all this budget is for... it is like a Union bargaining from hell and of death... of this budget this and that because you got this and that agent killed, quid pro quo type settlements...

These people live in another campus.

Oh, boy, here we go. I wonder which regs he's going to de-regulate? Probably all the "good" regs, if there are such animals. And speaking of animals, he'll probably eliminate Meat Inspection, so everyone will get sick and die, which isn't entirely outside the Utopian domain with progressives.

"Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night!" as Bette Davis would have said.

I think there should be a law that all budgetary figures must be reported on in annual terms.

They always were, until this Administration.

Not really. They've been doing the $$$$ over X years for a while. Interestingly, they only do it for cuts. Expenses are always given per annum.

Most of the cost of theses Regulation is to Americans of course. And even the estmate of the Obama Administration for the few they did estimate, are probably gross understatement much like most all Government estimates of the economic costs of their “rules”.

Raising the debt ceiling was a serous mistake, I hope John Boehner, and most especially Mitch McConnell lose their job over that vote.

I’d sooner vote for a democrat then vote for either of them traitors. At least a democrat fights you from the front, not stabs you in the back from behind.

Like I always say..... nuke the EPA and Department of education. They are hack havens, patronage havens, affirmative action havens. Fire every last parasite at the EPA then bulldoze the buildings. Same with Department of Education. Many other Federale agencies can easily fire half the employees and we’ll get along just fine. And they won’t bother us with dumbass regulations because they have too much time on their hands
