My three grown kids just went down to Florida to visit their grandfather. He has lots and lots of guns and bows and arrows and even spears. Does a lot of hunting and competitions. My 27 year old daughter said if things get bad, she knows where she is going!

I talked with a doctor who worked in a DC trauma unit about this, some years ago. She described how young teens would kill each other with aplomb. In one case, the killer was easily found because after killing the victim he went to McDonald's and was apprehended sitting there calmly eating some fries.

OK, I read it and also read that none of the victims offered any credible resistance. I have dealt with a mob on 2 different occasions in my life and neither time did the punks have any stomach for the surrender of their life. At the moment, these mobs exist because the police and the courts offer no threat to them.

If the police were taking care of the problem, then we wouldn't have a problem, and that's the problem.

When people get afraid, police hope for higher budgets. When people realize that crime will go down if more civilians have CCW and more criminals get shot, then that's bad for police budgets.
