August 21, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A prominent left-wing American political blog has come under fire after publishing one writer’s quip that the world needs “a global superplague” because “there are too many goddam people already.” Daily Kos contributor Jon Stafford’s August 10 post, in which Stafford described himself as “Not Pro-Choice, Pro-Abortion,” drew immediate attention in the blogosphere.
While Stafford said that his remarks are partly “facetious,” he went on to say, “nevertheless there is a seed of truth in it, because I believe that the world is wildly overpopulated and that we must take steps as a society to reduce it.
“This will undoubtedly be met with accusations of callousness, but we would could really use is a global superplague. The Black Death may have been horrible, but without it there would never have been a Renaissance.”
In the same blog post Stafford stated his belief in legalizing marijuana and homosexual “marriage” and his radical atheism. Just one day earlier, Stafford had said, “Rick Perry scares me. Michele Bachmann too. Not because they are crazy (although they are), but because they are charismatic and crazy. Because they tap into a strain of crazy that runs deep and strong in this country, a Christian fanaticism that is every bit as ugly as its Islamic counterpart. And every bit as destructive.”
Commenting on Stafford’s post, Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher said, “The world is by no stretch of the imagination, overpopulated.”
“Anyone who argues that the Black Death, which decimated Europe’s population for a hundred years, was a good thing, needs counseling,” Mosher said. “When did it come to be ‘socially liberal’ to espouse genocide? I thought that the Left was supposed to be opposed to such things?”
“Of course,” Mosher continued, Stafford “may think that by not identifying a particular group to be eliminated, he escapes the charge of genocide, but I don’t think so. The history of population control program is replete with examples of the majority ethnic, religious, class, etc., group using abortion, sterilization and contraception to reduce the numbers of the minority group. So, in practical terms, population control is genocide.”
In an interview with LifeSiteNews, American Life League President Judie Brown said, “On a practical matter having nothing to do with the avowed atheist, ‘overpopulation’ is not a problem at all.”
“The real problem is corrupt governments bloated with funds that are donated for the specific purpose of aiding the poor that never get to the poor,” Brown said. “The real problem is politics gone awry. You might summarize it as selfishness.”

The Powers That Be have a much better plan to decimate the world’s population: starvation.

That is because they are the descendants of the early Darwinists, who had an incestuous relationship with the early eugenicists.
Their common goal was to rid the world of those they considered genetically inferior (sound like anyone you’ve heard of with a funny mustache?).
Their goal is to eliminate those they consider to be stupid (ever hear them refer to conservatives as anything but?), extreme (notice how all religious people are extreme), and dangerous (patriots who fight for freedom are now ‘terrorists’).

To be accurate, the early Darwinists WERE the early eugenicists, the Darwin family and their in-laws founded the eugenics movement and were its leaders for the better part of a century.

The guy you want to address is named Stafford. Steven Mosher is a conservative, pro-life Catholic who was pointing out just how completely evil Stafford's ideas are.
This is common crap from left wing cowards. I’ve dealt with these turds when I was in local government.
But I promise: confront these left wing Nazis in a dark parking lot, alone, with no witnesses around and challenge them to a fight. They will run. They will piss in their pants. They will beg for mommy to protect them.

Yet, there are plenty of places all over the globe, many here in the USA, where I could spend a year without encountering another living soul. There are miles upon miles of unused land all over the earth that could be used for living space and to produce food (far in excess of need) for many times many more people. Tell me how, exactly, that means there are too many people. Please. Maybe take a step outside the city every once in a while to see the difference, you giant, blubbering retard.

Chesterton on birth control/population control:
In 1925 Chesterton wrote an introduction to Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in which he said that “The answer to anyone who talks about the surplus population is to ask him, whether he is part of the surplus population; or if not, how he knows he is not.”
Elsewhere, in an essay titled “Social Reform vs. Birth Control,” Chesterton argued that it is typically the wealthy elite who are interested in promoting population control as a solution to poverty, often simply as a means of avoiding dealing with the more difficult root problems that lead to poverty. "If [the Birth-Controller] can prevent his servants from having families, he need not support those families. Why the devil should he?” wrote Chesterton. “The landlord or the employer says in his hearty and handsome fashion: ‘You really cannot expect me to deprive myself of my money. But I will make a sacrifice. I will deprive myself of your children.’”
It is a bloodthirsty and abusive mentality. It should NEVER get near power in a constitutional Republic.
