When Chicago’s former mayor Richard Daley sold his top hat and city bank book to Rahm Emanuel, some pundits figured Obama’s former top aide would be satisfied with the benefits the position had always provided the Daley family–job security and all you can steal.

But Rahm has his eyes firmly fixed on the 2016 presidential race and is already doing what experienced Democrat politicians do best–he is using the power and authority of his office to buy voters and donors.

And of course in the best tradition of Democrat politics, Rahm will make certain that members of both groups have one thing in common. They will all be beholding to Rahm.

And Emanuel is off to a good start with a $20 million grant from the John T. and Catherine D. MacArthur Foundation. Named the “Micro Market Recovery Program”, the 20 million will be used to subsidize the purchase of homes in some of Chicago’s highest foreclosure areas.

In short, the mangers of the MacArthur Foundation is buying some very important access to Rahm, while Rahm’s well publicized generosity and compassion make him a hero in the eyes of voters.

a functioning synagogue by any chance? ...I know of a wealthy NY family that
used that trick to avoid property taxes on their house.

Well......we know Rahm's v-e-r-y religious---might have had services there (for all we know).

If you believe those hate-filled anti-Semites, they're always grumbling about this scam outed few years back----a generous soul contributed millions to his synagogue. Apparently the rabbi took a cut and the rest was deposited in Israel for the kind soul's use later....all tax-free. Israel is the only place in the world where one can debark, go to a bank with a suitcase full of cash, and nobody asks where it came from or if taxes were paid on it.

Rahm Emanuel cannot be President of the United States.
He is a DUAL Citizen of the USA & Israel.

Rahm served Israel's Army during the Gulf War as an Israeli Civilian Worker.₍₁₎

Obama may have pulled a fast one with his 'British Daddy'.

But Rahm's Dual Citizenship is a NO GO from the start. Plus, it is documented from here to Kingdom come that Rahm's DADDY was an Israeli Citizen - and a member of a terrorist group - Daddy was not a US Citizen. So 'we' ain't gonna fall for that bull again.

He does NOT meet the Constitutional qualifications, PERIOD!

But if he wants to be Premier of Israel, go for it Rahm. Golda Meir did it, so can you.

RAHM is lacking part of a finger and for many years went around claiming that he’d lost it in combat with Israeli enemies in an Israeli tank. He musta found out that would hurt his political chances---so he changed his story saying he got an infection from a cut by deli slicer.

Okay, I stand corrected.

But the interesting thing is that if you Google 'Rahm, Dual Citizen' what comes up on wiki is that he's never denied it.

When he ran for Congress his opponent used that 'Dual citizen' jab and Rahm, instead of saying it was wrong, or a lie. Just just got a group of lackey 'clergymen' together to denounce that as an anti semitic smear.

Now that I find interesting. If not true, why not just say so?

However the fact still is that his daddy was not a US Citizen. An Israeli until he died. Ergo, Rahm is not not qualified to be POTUS.
