looks like a muslim and they cannot rape it is all the women fault.
Has NYC become so safe that the people you have to worry about most are the police officers?
What does that have to do with “safe”?
Basically, that the police officers have gotten rid of so much of it that a few of them start committing it themselves.
In reality, it doesn't matter how “safe” or unsafe it is....there will always be people willing to do bad things because they feel empowered by “the system”......police are not exempt....
Could it be union mentality. Gotta keep the crime appearance up to avoid cutbacks or reductions in staffing?
Very true, sir, but police officers should be subject to enhanced penalties when committing these crimes. Why? Because when you commit a crime against a police officer, you face enhanced penalties, so what’s good for the goose should be good for the gander. In states with the death penalty, killing a police officer makes you automatically eligible for the death penalty. While I may disagree with these laws just as I disagree with hate crimes laws, these laws exist because they recognize that police officers hold an elevated and important position in our society. Likewise, the law should recognize that because police officers hold so much power over the rest of us (the power to arrest, the power to detain), that they should be subject to enhanced penalties when they commit crime. This guy should be getting life in prison if convicted instead of the 15-20 years he might end up getting, if he gets anything at all. How many times have we seen them get away with serious crimes? Dog shootings are an epidemic.
Oh my. Look at all of those crimes committed by police on that site you linked to! There’s dozens every day.
You won’t get any argument on that from me.....I believe there are way more bad ones then good ones....
Actually, we should castrate these people, along with child molesters.

Agreed. Just take a dull pair of pruning shears and remove everything. Then, if the guy can get out of his restraints and stop the blood flow fast enough he might even live through his experience...
Oh I have no doubt that there are many police crimes covered up, thanks to that thin blue line. I know for a fact that many of them get away with DWIs on a regular basis if no accident occurs. A sergeant arranges a ride home for one of the officers, etc.
You are looking at the wrong end, the evil is above the shoulders, remove that and you solve the problem.
Castrate a rapist all you have is an evil person that will have to use another tool to harm others.
Amputate the evil at about the C3 level and the rest of him will never hurt anybody again.
I agree. Since we have so many crimes that are enhanced for things like using a gun or hate crimes, certainly an authority figure like a cop who abuse their power should receive a harsher punishment.
Oh, what a twisted world we live in today, living under a president that did enough cocaine as an adolescent to kill a small horse. I feel so safe!
Oh, for sure!
