It seems for many like Bush, Chavez, et al, that whatever the question, the answer is more immigration.
Economy booming, we need more immigration. Economy sinking, we need more immigration. It never occurs to them that at over one million legal immigrants per year, perhaps the answer is less immigration.
Here is an idea, an immigration moratorium while unemployment remains above five percent.
Not bad for starters but too limited; here's a better one: no immigration, legal or illegal, for at least thirty years. It will take that long to assimilate those that came here over the last thirty years.
