Act two of the California Dream Act

A key California state Senate committee approved AB 131 on Thursday, paving the way for the bill to move forward in the state Senate. The bill, part of the two-bill package known as the California Dream Act, would allow college students who are illegal immigrants and qualify for in-state tuition to apply for Cal Grants and other public financial aid. Governor Jerry Brown signed a companion bill last month which would allow undocumented students to apply for private aid. But based on his statements during an editorial board meeting with the Fresno Bee last week, the Governor, citing concerns over cost controls, would not yet commit to signing this portion of the bill.

Of course, he'll sign it. It's all about buying votes.

And now, it's about putting illegals at the front of the line, ahead of citizens and legitimate foreign students. Their dream is our nightmare.

It is called AMNESTY.

When taxpayer funds are used to reward illegality, this nation is on the ropes. The late US of A. Blame the voters.

How can a state get away with this? I thought this was the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S JOB? Time for Holder to do one of his “lawsuit” specials!

“California businesses have complained that there’s a dearth of qualified college graduates coming down the pike, and some hail the Dream Act as a solid investment in the state’s economic future.”

With an unemployment rate of 13% there are plenty of qualifed college graduates who are desparate for work. The lefty who wrote this crap is a liar.

As long as we are “California-Dreaming”, how about a new Federal law making it a felony to vote in any USA, State or local election unless you are are a citizen of The United States of America?

Gov’nuh Brown-as-dirt wouldn’t like it, but it would cut down on spineless guys like Professor You Lie trying to win the votes of illegal aliens.

Hmm - - - the California debt problem. Yeah, “more debt to the State by loaning money to illegal aliens” that is a dandy debt-o-crat idea.

Well, to those who vote in The Peoples Republic of California allow me to “share” a little advice I learned while in the US Army: Put your left hand on your right ear, and your right hand on your left ear, and with a slight - - - .

Nah. Can’t. Gotta keep this as a PC family reply.

I’m for the dream act if they will add just one little thing. We will pay for their education BUT when they graduate they have to go back to their country of origin for the same number of years they spent being an illegal in the USA. After that, if they want to come back they can, provided they don’t come back illegally before that.

Governor Brown has had the progressive mantle stolen away from him by Uber progressive governor Rick Perry.
