Islam Is Not Part of Our Civilization

Obama said at the latest White House Iftar dinner:

Like so many faiths, Islam has always been part of our American family, and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country, in all walks of life.

These words have no basis in fact. Islam is not part of our civilization because its foundational principles are opposite to ours. Our civilization is built on the foundation of critical thought (how we think) and the Golden Rule (ethics). Islam is built on submission (authoritative thought) and ethical dualism.

Let’s compare the principles, of these different thought systems, starting with authoritative thought and critical thought. Critical thought (also: analytic thought, scientific thought) is the necessary reasoning or intellectual basis for our culture of democracy. Critical thought is objective--no matter who does the work, they get the same results. It is fact-based, uses cause and effect, and is intellectual, not emotional. Critical thought’s tie into morals is that you don’t lie or cheat about data.

Winston Churchill on Islam

This is prescient:

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

Can anybody name ONE? (Omar Sharif doesn’t count)

Well, it's just silly to say that "Islam has always been a part of our American family."

From the time of the first European settlements in the 1500s to independence in 1778 until the early 1920s, there were no American Muslims.

It wasn't until after World War I that any Muslims came to America to live at all, and until the late 1960s there were only a handful.

This is demonstrated by the fact that the quasi-Muslim movements among black Americans dating from the 30s to the 60s were weird Masonic variations on Islam (the Temple Of Moorish Science, the Nuwaubians, the Black Muslims, Ausar Auset Society, the Nation of Gods and Earths) with no knowledge of Arabic, or the Koran or actual Muslim culture and practice.

Islam is perceived as alien by Americans because it is alien to America, historically.

From Center for Immigration Studies:

In 1970, fewer than 200,000 Middle Easterners lived in the United States. About 15% (30,000) of them were Muslim. (The rest were escaping from Muslims.)

For the purposes of this study, the Middle East is defined as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Turkey, the Levant, the Arabian peninsula, and Arab North Africa.

Middle Eastern Muslims in the U.S. are a new phenomenon.

Like so many faiths, Islam has always been part of our American family, and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country, in all walks of life.

Not true.

BUT!!!

We keep hearing about diversity-this and diversity that. People trying to convince us that America has been since it’s inception, a “melting pot”.

And that itself is false. The majority of early Americans, in fact the VAST majority, were Anglo-Saxon people of various protestant denominations.

If anyone has access to any facts that disprove that, then post away!

Omar Sharif was born and raised as Michael Shalhoub, a Christian, in Egypt.

He converted to Islam in his 20s so he could get acting work in Egypt's film industry.

He probably didn't visit America until he was in his late 30s.

Oh come on, don’t you remember all those muzzies at Concord and lexington? How about charging up San Juan Hill with Teddy Roosevelt? He couldn’t have done it without Abdul and Kareem at his side. Remember those brave muslim regiments taking Hamburger Hill? Yeh thats the ticket.

The people here will not push out Communism, Nazi Party or any other group that is a threat to them. Why would we expect them to kick out Islam? We need to change our thinking and, I believe, we need another McCarthy era.

It’s almost impossible to believe that Obama can get away with such a statement. And this is precisely why I refuse to support the Main-Stream-Media. I will not give them any of my money! TV is a brain rotter. If I had to watch Obama accidently for a moment or two I am sure that my BP would rise significantly. Please won’t someone consider the toxic nature of TV and cancel right now? We have to send a message to all of these creeps and hit them where they will notice, in the pocketbook.
