At my son’s orientation they put on a skit about ‘tolerance’. We must be tolerant of the gay students, tolerant of the slutty girls that drink too much, tolerant of the party hounds, tolerant of the kids that don’t have a lot of money. In the skit, when the Christian kid asked his friends if anyone wanted to do Bible study with him, he was promptly lectured about how he needed to be tolerant that not everyone is a Christian. There was also another skit about sex on campus. The overall message was..have sex with whoever you want as quickly and whenever you want, just make sure you wear protection and get tested for STD’s. I wanted to yank him out of there, but 12 years of Christian education and my warning him about what college would be like in the land of liberals has prepared him.

I believe I’m seeing signs here and there that students are on to this indoctrination stuff. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if one of these days an entire incoming freshman class just laughed their way through the entire “Tunnel of Oppression” exercise - and then invoked God’s blessings upon the twits that subjected them to it. As the current phrase goes, “Heads would explode!”

Tolerance is the virtue of believing in nothing. If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.

How tolerant of them (/sarc). But seriously, at first I thought the skit you were describing was satire because the irony was almost too much. But based on the rest of the skit, I don't know how any thinking person could fail to see the irony. But then again, liberalism is a mental disorder, so why should I expect anything less.

The Harrad Experiment is a fact-like chronicle of the early ventures of this indoctrination. I ran into such socially debasing and morally perverting "resident life advising" in the early 70's, and was absolutely surprised about how pervasive and utterly mind-f0keding it has become today even at "conservative" colleges.

Another early example is the personal testimony of a co-ed (that's old-school for a girl undergrad) who fell prey to the hyper predator Bill Ayers. See FR thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2106113/posts.

Wikipedia describes Ayer's current wife Dohrn's sweet (/not) little foray into community organizing thusly:

Women's Brigade of Weather Underground

The Women's Brigade was made up of seventy members, led by Bernardine Dohrn. Their activities, although sensationalized for publicity purposes, were primarily confined to the levels of sympathizers and spies. The internal policies of WUO strictly defined as well as limited women's contributions within the group. The WUO required members to live in "weather collectives" in an effort to reject the bourgeois society. All female members were required to have sex with all male members, and women also had sexual relations with other women, as monogamous relationships were considered "counterrevolutionary"
