a. To take the attention off Obama’s agonistes.
b. To give Obama a Horatius-at-the-bridge leadership moment.
c. To try and blow a little hot air into the deflated global warming hemorrhoid.
d. It’s just the Silly Season and we need some dramatic headlines.

I wondered the same thing, lol. Earlier today I read that he would return tonight and Michelle and the girls would go back to D.C. tomorrow morning. Maybe their handlers told them we aren’t in the mood to pay for multiple flights again.

Is the Commander in Chief actually authorized to salute? Did anyone bother to write it down anywhere?
If there’s anything I remember it’s that you don’t salute if you’re not in uniform.

That is definately no salute. It’s a cross between thumbing his nose and waving at the Airmen. We’ll never see a real salute. His little pea-brain is big enough to learn how, it’s his way of showing his hatred and disrespect of the military by not ever offering a genuine salute.
Why don’t they have servants to carry them?
