“walking around enraged.” That’s a better description of Zero than of Rick Perry.
In my viewing, one of the best images of Rick Perry was when he squatted down to explain to a little boy (who had been set up by his craven mother) that in Texas school children had the choice of believing in Evolution or Creationism, and it was assumed that they were smart enough to make the right choice.
Perry was not “enraged.” He spoke quietly, gently, and in a manner that addressed the child with respect.
Peggy Noonan has created her own “persona” for Rick Perry and like a skilled writer she will continue to manipulate it to flesh out the image she wants to create.
