Well here's hoping that Cheney tears Colin Powell a new asshole because what that son-of-a-bitch Powell did was unforgivable.
What I'm talking about is the Valerie Plame incident, Powell knew the day that Bob Novak's story became a scandal that Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage had leaked Plame's name to Novak and Powell knew because ARMITAGE F****** TOLD POWELL RIGHT AFTER THE SHIT HIT THE FAN.
And what did Powell do? Did he immediately call President Bush, WHO HAPPENS TO BE HIS BOSS, and tell "W" what's what?
F**** NO!
Powell let the entire Bush administration twist in the wind until all was said and done with careers and reputations destroyed.
And why? Because Bush wouldn't let Powell have the power and influence that Kissinger had with Nixon? Who the f*** knows.
And the f****** MSM has given Powell a free pass all along the way.
And don't think for a minute that it didn't help the Dems take back control of Congress in 2006.
The whole Bush Administration was raked over the coals for about 18 months due to Valerie Plame and her lunatic publicity hound husband. Powel and Richard Armitage knew who leaked the Plame/CIA information and never fessed up. Plus Armitage was the actual leaker, not Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney or all the others that Chris Mathews and the left slimed for months and months which gave the Bush Administration a bad image. Same way the left piled on Sarah Palin and made it so she can't run for president.
