Cause they’re doing the same dam thing.. and in this case I doubt it’s just for national security reason.. which are entirely justified.
They don’t want to release them because they are using them.

I would argue that the memos name members of the current regime along with their alleged acts of treason.
i’m sure that some Republican notables would be glad to speak at a VFW convention. Herman Cain, Glenn Beck, John Bolton.
And in contrast there must be things in these memos that makes Bush look good.
The entire argument about survellience was continually distorted through the propaganda of the Paulites and the leftwing by claiming that it was American citizens who were being spied on domestically when the real issue was about enemy communications coming across the border.
The democrap party and the media have continually have lied through their teeth about what the real argument was about even so it does not suprise me at all that Obama is blocking the release of these memos.

You would be exactly correct. I remember hearing Rush (I think) talk about the expansion when it happened. I also remember Rush providing the audio of Obama’s complaints about Bush’s warrentless wire taps .. until Obama found out he could use it against his enemies.
What bothered me was that people didn’t know what the thing was all about. The person listening was A MACHINE. It was listening for key words or key phrasing which had been programmed into the machine. And .. the phones it was listening to were primarily those cell phones found on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Never, has any CITIZEN of America ever filed a complaint against the govt stating they had been spied upon. Surely somebody would have figured it out if they were being listened to ..?
Of course, now that Obama has expanded the program - I’m really surprised nobody has filed a complaint.
The Eshcalon program was begun under Clinton and really had nothiing to do with the arguments about surviellance by Bush.
There is no argument that has ever been made by the Bush administration that it is alright to spy on the citizenry. It is pure BS. The issue was about intercepting enemy communications across the border.
Considering that the democrats and the Paulites as well both distorted the issue continually and claimed that it was about spying on American citizens then it wouldnt suprise me if they try to do so.

I don’t remember the wording “across the border” being used in connection with the warrantless wire tap issue.
Most of the media would never point that out and of course Ron Paul followers never would as well but that was the issue. The original stories covered it, conservatives such as NROs Victor Davis Hanson covered it but the left-wing MSM continaully would characterize it as being about US citizens.
Even the FISA court ruled that the Commander-in-Chief had the power granted to intercept communications deemed as possibly enemy comminications coming across the border. Because that was the issue and not spying on American citizens as reports to disorted the issue to seem like.
I am aware, what with the extreme mis-information broadcast by the MSM, how terribly hard it is for the average person to know the truth.
No wonder the left has been able to grasp such a stronghold upon America.
