She nearly dragged McCain’s sorry carcass across the finish line. As soon as they were leading in the polls came the ‘fiscal collapse’.
their 5 minute attention span is up and they want something new.
well, that’s fine for last election’s 18 year olds. no doubt some will see the light.
but this election cycle brings another crop of 18 year olds, most of whom have no responsibilities (and therefore nothing to lose by voting idiotically). they will vote overwhelmingly Dim, not to mention the fraud. their voting education will also come at our expense. and so on, and so on.
one radical solution is multi-tiered voting rights but that is not gonna ever happen.
how about this:
- lower voting age to 16 years old
- can’t vote if someone claims you as dependent (no matter what age)
- no voting for welfare recipients (they have ‘opted out’ of their right for as long as they wish to)
- no votes while in prison (post-conviction), but after release/end of probation, all, even felons, have their rights restored.
other exceptions can be found, I’m sure
see, told you I was a radical. you oughta hear my plan on alcohol and driving rights.
I’m a different kind of radical. I’m one of those educators who happens to be conservative. I believe that conservativism just makes sense and that one of the reasons why they have school last so long is because it takes 12 years to get the kids to think like a liberal.
Give young people responsibilities, and obligations, and see what you get? Anyways, blessings to you.
Thought they were getting Hope & Change instead they got Groped & Blamed.
Yeah, they were willing to burn down the house to rule it. Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac were both domestic terrorism.
I remember those days well. I didn’t have a dime to my name, but I had an excellent job and no costs.
It was surreal. Everyone seemed to be panicking and I was busier than I had ever been. Financial crisis, my hiney!
Then Obama came in and we got it good and hard. Those weren’t fun days, but even they did not last forever.
I want to see that in November 2012 after six months of racial hatred against the GOP and the GOP candidate.
Fat chance.
100%!
150% in Chicago, Detroit, and Philadelphia...
“Whats his support among Muslims, illegals, and dead people?” you ask.
100% and growing.
I don’t know anyone who DID vote for him in 2008 who is willing to say he will vote for him in 2012! I know that many of them will vote for him but to say so publicly is like putting a “please kick me” sign on your back.
Obama is the WORST thing to happen to black America in my lifetime. I wonder just how many of them have realized that by now. He is not really the first black president, he is simply mixed race and probably a lot more Caucasoid than Negroid but he IS the first “affirmative action” president.
The media will carry on about the brilliance of Obama and ignore his obvious failure.
