The half-uncle of President Barack Obama arrested last week for drunken driving was a great employee but never mentioned his relationship to the President, the owner of the liquor store he worked at said.
Onyango Obama, 67, has worked at Conti Liquors, 409 Concord St., since 2006, said store owner Parimal Patel.
"I have nothing but good things to say about him,'' said Patel. "He's probably the best employee I've had.''
Obama usually worked about 30 hours a week, mostly nights, Patel said. He never talked about relatives, including President Barack Obama.

Patel said he knew Obama was from Kenya, but said he had no idea he was here illegally. He said Obama provided both a Social Security number and a drivers license.
"He's been paying taxes. I know he got a refund,'' Patel said.

The owner of the liquor store needs to be in jail for knowingly employing illegals.
He was the exclusive Beer Summit supplier.
Imagine that, a “Patel” owning a liquor store and an “Obama” working at it.

Patel is a big name in convenience stores and hotels.
Both “Patel” and “Obama” need to be deported, post haste. And in addition to those two, we should probably deport “Obama’s” nephew and Hilda Solis.
Anybody know whether Hilda Solis is a legal immigrant because I don’t. She was the U.S. Rep from my district (I live in El Monte, CA) prior to being appointed to the post of Labor Secretary by the Illegal Alien in Chief. No background check, no documents, nothing. Just appointed. I believe that this nation is being governed by illegal aliens. It must stop NOW!
Oh, for crying out loud. I am sure Patel never asked him, when Obama was campaigning or at anytime, if he was related to Barack? Yeah, right. And I find it impossible to believe that this uncle never bragged about his relationship when Barack was elected. Give me a break.
He probably has a valid I-9 on file. These guys are no dummies.
Does his job well, and pays his taxes.

From what I've heard, you don't actually have to pay taxes to get a refund.
Obama has had some minor trouble while working at Conti Liquors, Framingham Police said. Last year, police conducted a sting by sending an underage man into the store to buy liquor. Obama sold the 19-year-old man booze without asking for an ID, police said. The store lost its license for three days.
In 2006, Obama also sold alcohol to two underage men using fake IDs, police said.
Why should Patel be deported — he seems a legal citizen (whether a recent immigrant or second/third generation) and has every right to stay in the country.
