August 31, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Many Americans have been shocked by reports about a recent pro-pedophilia conference in Baltimore in which psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, representing institutions like Harvard and Johns Hopkins, sought to present pedophilia in a sympathetic and even positive light. But why should this surprise us?
Academic articles in scholarly journals have been presenting pedophilia in a sympathetic light for years, and, as Matthew Cullinan Hoffman noted, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) released a report in 1998 “claiming that the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from their child sexual abuse experiences.’ It even claimed that large numbers of the victims reported that their experiences were ‘positive,’ and suggested that the phrase ‘child sex abuse’ be replaced with ‘adult-child sex.’” Others have coined the more disgusting term “intergenerational intimacy.”
The APA’s report was so disturbing that it drew an official rebuke from Congress, yet the pro-pedophile (or, pro-pederast) push continues. In fact, some psychiatric leaders, like Dr. Richard Green, who were instrumental in removing homosexuality from the APA’s list of mental disorders in 1973, have been fighting to remove pedophilia as well.

Well, the same could be said of rapists, serial killers and other perverts.
They will couch it in terms of the right of the child to decide. We sane people know that children do not have the capacity to make these decisions, especially if they were raised (groomed) as sex objects from the beginning by pervert parents (see “social liberal” or extreme libertarian movements).

Nope. That is bad enough. I am talking about people who believe in raising their own kids for sex. Disgusting right? They brainwash the kids from birth and say its all the kids choice in the matter.
Well, this is because the Supreme Court does not respect the Constitution, and through its lack of action, has given the federal government the power to impose a homosexual agenda on society. If power was given back to the states, states could better regulate the activity of pedophiles that corrupt children. Eye on the prize.
Pedophiles who hurt children should be executed. Those who advocate repealing age of consent laws are insane. My state has an age of consent of 17. I am fine with that. Some states have it at 16. It should never go below 16. Individuals below the age of 16 are still children, even if they no longer physically resemble children.

They call themselves “libertarian” and they argue that children have just as much to sex as anyone else and that if its their “choice” to have sex with an adult then no one’s rights have been violated.

I also found 2 defunct (inactive) “live journals” that advocated this type of lifestyle. They ask and asnwer questions such as “when should I stop sleeping nude or bathing with my child” and their answer is “when one of you becomes uncomfortable”. I guess that depends on how well you have groomed and desensitized the child, right?

Why? I guess I’d be okay with that, as long as you have an affirmative defense in there for those who are less than 3 years older than the minor. I don’t want to lock an 18 year old up for having sex with a 15 or 16 year old. You’d be locking half the kids in the country up if you did that. I would definitely want to lock a 25 or 30 year old up for having sex with a 17 year old if the age of consent is 18, however. Let’s also examine the enormous double standard between male rapists and female victims vs. female rapists and male victims. When female teachers abuse their power and have sex with their middle schoolers, I always see comments on news websites saying how the male student was so lucky to have sex with his teacher. I’m sorry, but I think that is disgusting. They should be executed, just like the adult males who have sex with middle schoolers. Agreed?

I’m not surprised at all: I grew up in Southern California in the 1970s. What has surprised me is how much longer it has taken to accomplish this goal, as opposed the normalization of pornography and homosexuality.

Exactly. That's more or less what makes them psychopathic.
This is the path that the left-wing have been trying to accomplish with the entire gay marraige and homosexual rights agenda.
1.) They are trying to establish that they can take away the peoples ‘right to representation’ on an issue of how sexuality is dealt with publically. Thus the left are trying to use the Courts to override the process of legislation made by our representatives.
2.) They are trying to establish sexuality (in any form?) as an issue of rights that the government needs to protect from discrimination and never legislate against.
3.) By establishing homosexuality specifically as a right that the government needs to protect and introducing it that way in schools the left is establishing precedent to turn children against so-called homophobic parents and to have the government step in between parents and child in order to protect a child’s right to sexual expression.
4.) Then extend this so-called protection of rights to all sexual expression by children and thus also much more strongly insert the government and their children. Evidence of this is even in the recent HHS statement on their website telling parents to treat their children like ‘sexual beings’.
The ‘age of consent’ laws are determined the same way that marraige laws have been determined, through our ‘right to representation’. If as a people we have no right to representation on how gender is dealt with in public then why will be able to maintain a ‘right to representation’ on the ‘age of consent’?
Typical lines from the ‘gay marraige’ debate used by leftists will be used again. “How does it hurt you if another family decides that their children are ready for sexual relationships?” “Why should be allowed to tell another family how to raise their children.”

Actually, I think that this pro-pedophilia action could be turned right back on them.
So fine, they do not think pedophilia is a mental illness. This means that pedophiles no longer have a defense of mental illness when they are facing the death penalty for their criminal actions.
That is, since the APA says that pedophiles are “normal”, then there should be no pretense that they could either be “cured”, permitted back into society, ever, or not given the ultimate punishment for their crimes.
Society does not want its children molested, despite what the APA thinks, so it should interpret these actions as giving free license to the legal system to lethally inject these criminals.
Logically, it may be perfectly “normal” for a Nazi to want to kill Jews. No mental illness needed at all. But this also means that non-Nazis should be free to pass laws making it a capital crime to execute Nazis who carry out their “normal” behavior. So the same rules should apply to pedophiles.

Finally, a nationwide deluge of teacher/student affairs conditioned them to think sex between children and adults in authority is no big thing.

The education system in this country needs to be destroyed.
It’s another intrusion by government to ween the loyalty of children away from parents by offering kids sex as candy. Religion and the family have always challenged the powers of the state and now the state wants to discredit both and have sole right to do as it pleases with its citizens.
